I don't know if it's a CSS thing or a general site thing but I've only just noticed it now. When clicking the quote marks to expand a text post (without leaving the front page) my cursor gets locked in place until the animation of the post opening finishes.
I haven't experienced that personally. I use the Brave browser with Javascript disabled by default, but enabled for select sites (including this, of course).
If you're using a computer, rather than a phone to visit the site. Do the titles of the sticky posts appear to have a background color associated with them?
We have a dark mode now? I normally don't do dark mode, but I'll go for it if it means not having sticky post titles as white text over a peach background.
Are you really leaving light mode with this color scheme, though? Putting light text on a light background with no other contrast is bad and impossible to read at a distance or at different angles.
Hm. Browser issue? I normally use an old version of Pale Moon. Just tried an old version of Firefox and got completely different colors (white text on green background, plus some blues and purples not present on Pale Moon). The newer versions don't play nice with my OS. I've got javascript turned on and I just tried disabling uBlock for a minute, but no color difference there.
I never understood the appeal. Staring at a CRT monitor close-range for several hours a day was kinda bad, but the pain stopped after a few weeks and never came back. Though admittedly the default color scheme here got on my nerves for other reasons.
I suspect it's due to oversizing of a element in the css file instead, i'm thinking it is the hidden logo that breaks it on a mobile small screen but could be wrong.
I'm here for the bukkake.
We've been stuck on the airing of grievances for a while now
It seems to have worked splendidly, chum. Looks marvelous.
It was u/MetallicBioMeat out of the kindness of his meaty heart.
Well, he did a very good job then.
Verra nice.
Good coloring. Let's see Paul Allen's CSS.
Looks nice.

Edit: I use dark mode.
I can't replicate the issue. What browser are you using? I'm using Firefox at the moment.
Chrome

They do. The green could be a tad bit darker for better contrast, but otherwise looks great!
I might try darker/brighter color schemes for dark/light mode.

If you're on desktop:
Congrats on getting some code stuff done, btw.

Uh, should be black font on a white background...

Convincing enough. I suppose I've taken eye condition for granted. Hard to say if not feeling the pain is good, but it is convenient haha.
Looks like this
Apparently, this is because the background is visible on light mode, but not dark mode.
Conspiracy.win has a pull out panel on the left. I suspect the bar on our right is related.
A pull out panel of what? Their wiki?
The bar goes away in landscape on mobile, so u/MetallicBioMeat is closer to the problem than I am.
Which bar? The hot/new/rising/top buttons? Those are actually on a dropdown under the search bar that only appears on mobile.
The empty white pullout bar on the right on mobile. It shows up in portrait, but not landscape.
I'm not totally sure what that is yet. Might be a pop-out menu of some kind.
Other wins and stuff

I don't know nothing bout this computamitizing, so you're probably less wrong than me.
Oh, is that what that is, I thought that was just something wrong with my browser.
Everything is working fine for me in a mobile browser.
Everything seems to function and looks pretty good
Looks fine, but still needs improvements for mobile browsers as the top banner gets partially cropped on mobile.
It works okay in landscape mode on mobile, but we're still trying to address the issue for portrait mode.
nice
It actually looks like KotakuInAction now
yaaaaaay
looks good on desktop waterfox
You are able, or unable, to scroll sideways?
Looks good so far.
Thank you!!!! It just looked so bland. Make the site look nicer :) Your effort is appreciated.

I like it! Vivid colors, but also feels nice and light, not overwhelming.
