Animal Crossing seems like a mess anyway. Everything about it seems like a leftist woman's paradise to me--is that it's target audience? I would have thought it's a kids game, but I can't even see myself having wanted to play that game when I was a kid.
Animal Crossing has been terrible from the day the developers toned down the snarky villagers, resulting in all the NPCs fellating the ego of the player 24/7. I like New Horizons, but the constant validation from the villagers made the game boring and monotonous.
The animal crossing community is the epitome of rich assholes praising "allyship" and open-mindedness while being as closed-minded and toxic to anyone as soon as they give any pushback to their ideas or demands. The mindset is present throughout the game, because it gives the player tons of options on how to express their avatar, but also allows you to kick out the villagers in your town/island through harassment and change everything about their clothing and housing through social manipulation.
