It seems by and large the police just do what they are told. Stand and get spit on, yelled at, and have stuff thrown at you without doing anything? Yes, xir. Arrest someone for paddleboarding totally alone? Yes, xir. Arrest someone for no mask? Yes, xir.

I'm totally against them having their lives ruined and given bogus charges like murder for bullshit that happens, but that's just me trying to be fair.

They won't stop Antifa violence in large cities but they will arrest people over not wearing a mask?

WTF.

Defunding/Abolishing the police is a terrible fucking idea however them becoming the mask police is also a terrible fucking idea.

The cancerous notion of saying "I am just following orders" ruins critical thinking and personal responsibility in law enforcement.

This nation is fucked until both the people and law enforcement stand up for freedom in these authoritarian lockdowns.

Sure, back the blue and all, but don't be silly about it.

Look: if you think that not getting the security forces on your side is a good idea during a revolution, you're gonna be laying face down in a shallow trench. Support security forces in so much that we can get them on our side.

The police will take bricks and molotovs to the face with a fucking smile, so long as it's thrown by "approved" people blessed by the chief or mayor. Police protect their pensions, not the people.

Police protect their pensions, not the people.

When their pensions evaporate, they will be free. When it starts, the former government loses all control over them.

I trust the military more than the police. The police are conditioned ot see people as their enemies. The military are conditioned to see us as assets to be protected.

am I wrong? lol at all my anti-cop posts getting downvoted. You retards are gonna have to take the anti-bootlicker pill someday. Either now or when your cop buddies are confiscating your property because the state told them to

And the state will be to blame.

Maybe the higher ups feel that way, but the average soldier likely doesnt.

America uses the Revolutionary and Civil wars to inculcate its future military (and to some extent law enforcement) and tempt them into service. Enlistees are by and large raised on a steady diet of the spirit of '76.

if you disobey an order, you can go to prison.

You're actually legally obligated to disobey illegal orders, and are reminded of this periodically.

Most people who join the military come from poor backgrounds that were in such a situation that a chance to be sent overseas to fight in useless wars was preferable to what they left.

False.

I'm increasingly more ambivalent when it comes to ACAB graffiti that keep popping up around here.

One thing that both sides could agree on is that police needed major reform and the brief window we had after the George Floyd incident slammed shut when people found it as a good time to riot & burn shit thus destroying any chance for real. Like most I don’t trust the popo as I’ve seen them do suss shit but at the same time if they’re not violating other rights outright ruining their lives is uncalled for

BLM started right as demilitarizing the police was gaining bi-partisan support. Suddenly it became a racial issue, and everyone lost the fucking ball.

True though BLM was formed around during the Micheal Brown/Ferguson incident years before but really took off after George Floyd

Rand Paul offered numerous things that would actually reform the police and he got massively shot down.

Cops are tools of the state, always have been, always will be. When the state is corrupt, very few of them will go against it.

Man, if only people here were more willing to abandons someone liberal as quick as quick as they're willing to abandon police.

Oh what's that? I'm an asshole for thinking Pewdiepie is a piece of shit leftist that donates to BLM?

What's that? "Our" allies are a bunch of so-called "based" feminists that are just leftist that had the same level of TDS as literally anyone in the mainstream news? Where we'll pretend they were never on our side than forget about it one month later when they "dunk" on Anita.

Yep, I'm totally seeing how the "based" liberals of KIA2.win are going to win this culture war.
