One thing that both sides could agree on is that police needed major reform and the brief window we had after the George Floyd incident slammed shut when people found it as a good time to riot & burn shit thus destroying any chance for real. Like most I don’t trust the popo as I’ve seen them do suss shit but at the same time if they’re not violating other rights outright ruining their lives is uncalled for

BLM started right as demilitarizing the police was gaining bi-partisan support. Suddenly it became a racial issue, and everyone lost the fucking ball.
True though BLM was formed around during the Micheal Brown/Ferguson incident years before but really took off after George Floyd
