“Mr. Dorsey, who the hell elected you? And put you in charge of what the media are allowed to report and what the American people are allowed to hear?” Cruz said, accusing Twitter of “behaving like a Democratic super PAC" and "silencing views to the contrary of your political beliefs.”

“The three witnesses we have before the committee today collectively pose the single biggest threat to free speech in America and the greatest threat we have to free and fair elections,” he said. “Of the three players before us, Twitter’s conduct has by far been the most egregious.”

It was his loss in the 2016 primary that made him find his balls.

well that might be part of the reason now that i think about it but its more the fact that i originally felt like he was just another establishment puppet type but when he started being so outspoken about things that needed to be addressed that others are not doing (cause of the money and power involved) , with almost no filter i started to respect him more.

I wish Cruz would do more than just run his mouth on anti-woke and anti-left talking points. Yeah, he brings the fire with his based commentary, but then nothing ever comes out of it.

This is exactly the point, and also in my opinion the only valid reason to be wary of the super rich: They have a lot of power despite not being elected by anyone.

We did not consent to being ruled and manipulated by these people just by buying their products or using the services provided by their companies.

I wonder if Cruz can get enough traction to one day actually do something.

The Democrats are claiming that the right are bullying media giants to force them to spread misinformation. There is no proof that it is misinformation and they have no problem in spreading misinformation as long as it hurts Trump.

But this is not what the leftists see, they only see and agree with the democrats pov. Is there any hope to get back to a point where they try to see our pov?
