I already voted and along with the rest of my family we voted for Trump. My brother is paranoid and said he is going to prepare for the worst and assume Biden will win due to the polls. I get what he is saying because I don’t want to assume a landslide but I do wonder about how the usual suspects in media keep pushing poll numbers and “corona surges”. The timing of it all. I voted for Trump in 2016 and honestly was shocked when he won but they say now that the polls are better.
Anyone else a little paranoid or worried?
Although if Biden wins I’ll move on with my life. My parents taught me this Weird lesson that things won’t always go my way.
Progressives rewrite the footnotes of history in real time. The public polls will never have Trump winning because they can be used as a casus belli to seize the throne. That doesn't mean Trump is winning in a landslide. It means the polls are worse than worthless.
You see Trump winning?
Yes, but I really don't know. New York could go Trump, or Utah to Biden.
Utah? I thought that was pretty solid red. Or is it like a lot of blue states that are red except for lefty big cities? Also does it have the same issue we deal with here in Texas of blue state refugees moving here and turning it purple?
Utah is absurdly red. I wouldn't expect it to go blue anytime soon, but shit is cray so I'm ready for anything. The numbers won't remotely reflect reality with the amount of fraud happening right now.
Signs point to yes.
Look at the Democrats: they fielded one of the worst possible combination of candidates, barely did any campaigning, and if they open their mouth, gaffes and stupidity comes flowing out. It is very unlikely that Harris won the Presidency (yes, I said Harris because it is pretty transparent that Biden is only a vehicle for Harris to swoop into the Oval Office). And I think that the margin of difference between the Democrat and Republican votes is so high that the Democrats can't overcome it with cheating without setting off all sorts of alarms. Plus, the Democrats have been awfully transparent about their plans, so I bet that Trump has something in place for them.
I bet that their plan A all along was to cause all sorts of election chaos and use the chaos to get the Supreme Court to figure out who won and force Harris into office that way. RBG dying and ACB being sworn in yesterday ruined that plan and they are panicking because they don't have plan B in place.
The most important thing is to keep on trucking. If Biden wins, take the setbacks as they come rather than immediately dispaire.
Personally, I think Biden winning will cause the dems to throw their ultra-woke shit in the trash, seeing there's no more use for it. They'll cast their useful idiots to the wind and have the media reprogram the plebs to being docile again. We'd get another 4 years of Obama, but it wouldn't be 4 years of Maduro at least.
"Ha ha, look at these weirdos on Tumblr!"
"Oh, those kooky college students and their safe spaces! They're going to be in for a shock when they have to get a job in the real world!"
"Huh. Looks like our HR department is woke, and hiring woke college students."
"And journalism is writing all kinds of woke nonsense."
"Now it's taken over comics.
And movies and TV.
And now it's all over the tech sector.
And STEM.
And K12 curriculum.
And now major corporations are advertising about toxic masculinity and systemic racism?
And the paper of record has created a false history saying that our entire national identity is based on slavery, and pushing it into primary schools.
Now there are people in the streets assaulting people and tearing down statues.
Now my state wants to make it legal for the state to discriminate against people based on race.
Now the paper of record is saying freedom of speech is dangerous.
Now tech platforms are censoring information on the behalf of one political party.
And the dictionary is changing definitions on the fly to support that party.
Now they are saying people who supported the wrong candidate need to be put on trial...
...but they'll probably calm down if they win this election."
I have been watching people continuously underestimating Wokeism for years now.
They WILL NOT STOP. It is a totalizing ideology. The Democrats may "drop" Wokeism, but they certainly won't try to stop it. They will continue to allow the Woke to push into every cultural and administrative crevice they can in order to break it all apart.
The only way to stop it is to actively push back against it -- to make people understand how destructive Wokeism really is.
I'm not saying it game over if Biden wins, but we cannot think for a moment that things are going to return to the way they were before Trump.
I highly recommend listening to this podcast.
Its fucking scary how quickly this shit got out of control
What happens on college campuses happens everywhere 5 years later. They've controlled university education for 12.
You must have been living under a rock for the last twelve years if you think that wokeism will magically go away under the horror of a Biden presidency which can only be made possible via massive voter fraud.
Under Obama's two terms, the woke infection started spiking up massively and eventually metastasizing into full capture of all our major institutions.
People who are naive to think it will just go away are why it has even got this bad in the first place.
You need to understand that the Democrats will never be able to push against wokeism because a large chunk of their base pushes it. Even if the Democrats wanted to and tried to stop it , it is out of their control. The radical left which consists of the Sanders wing of woke idiots who call themselves "progressives" do have the establishment Democrats by their balls.
Wokeism has spread everywhere, it will never start to shrink until regular people start chipping away at it piece by piece by highlighting how dangerous critical race theory and intersectional feminism are to the fabric of the nation.
You think a Biden win would end the woke entertainment pushing messages?
As far as the DNC can control? Yes. Once they are back in power, everything needs to be fine so they can say "look how great things are now that orange man is defeated."
They will do everything in their power to cover up the race riots, subversion of foreign nations, and rising poverty so that city liberals will keep mindlessly voting for them.
Wishful thinking. They don't have to address any real problems because the media makes them disappear.
What's going to happen is they'll turn the screws even tighter. After all, the last bastions of Republican voters have to be eradicated once and for all.
And it won't stop there. That's what happens in countries where there's already little opposition to the left, e.g. Germany. Journos, politicians, sports groups, corporations, NGOs, etc. all try to out-woke each other 24/7. Not even the least bit of dissent is tolerated. Wokeness has to be integral to every last part of society. Everybody needs to prove they are the most morally superior, progressive, tolerant person in the room.
The purity spiral never ends.
I'm not sure you would. A lot of establishment figures seem very concerned that even with four years to prepare to overturn a democratic vote this is going to be very close so if Biden wins I'd look to see sweeping changes that will allow much better democratic representation ... lots of people with a lot of money have had their will frustrated for four years now and I don't think it's something that they will permit to happen again if they get any say about it.
Also, cast your mind back to Obama's time in office - do you recall how promptly he got to work dismantling constitutional protections again illegal searches and changing the US government to one that ran on unchallenged executive orders?
Internal polls are what matter, and they won't show us those. Public polls are there to manipulate public opinion and to encourage or discourage people from voting. People like to vote for the winner, as that makes themselves feel like a winner.
It's really down to who are better cheaters. The democrats with their election fraud or the Repubs with their voter restrictions.
Good points
Trump has a great shot based on various historical predictors.

Only the worst predictor has him down. The worst predictor is public polls conducted by media organizations and universities. This is the only that the left cites for their dreams of a Biden landslide victory.
There are still many many problems with public polling. Polling methodology in media polls has actually gotten worse since 2016 with more blatant anti Trump bias.
Look at this and they will further break it down way better than I can.

It's a long watch but well worth watching fully.
When the nomination first happened, I would have bet you even money or given points on Biden winning. Today, I would have to ask for points. I don't buy polls for shit. The betting line is where people put their money where their mouth is.
I worry more about the gubernatorial election because that has a more direct influence on my life.
Still the US remains a big country, with a lot of undeveloped areas where one could drop off the face of the earth provided they filed their income tax returns, paid their property taxes, and didn't modify firearms for strangers.
The saving grace of our present managerial oligarchy is that our managerial oligarchs don't inspire any passion or loyalty in their foot-soldiers and don't pay them enough to buy that passion or loyalty, so if you don't want to be found there's probably not going to be much effort put into finding you provided you don't do something stupid.
For 4 years, the left has been worked into a frenzy leading up to Nov 3. If Trump loses, things are going to be kind of normal again for awhile. General dissatisfaction and decline, but a low boil kind of thing. If Trump wins, expect shit to get hot in a hurry.
I personally think he'll win. Biden is running the worst campaign in modern election history. There's reason to worry either way, though.
