I already voted and along with the rest of my family we voted for Trump. My brother is paranoid and said he is going to prepare for the worst and assume Biden will win due to the polls. I get what he is saying because I don’t want to assume a landslide but I do wonder about how the usual suspects in media keep pushing poll numbers and “corona surges”. The timing of it all. I voted for Trump in 2016 and honestly was shocked when he won but they say now that the polls are better.
Anyone else a little paranoid or worried?
Although if Biden wins I’ll move on with my life. My parents taught me this Weird lesson that things won’t always go my way.
I'm not sure you would. A lot of establishment figures seem very concerned that even with four years to prepare to overturn a democratic vote this is going to be very close so if Biden wins I'd look to see sweeping changes that will allow much better democratic representation ... lots of people with a lot of money have had their will frustrated for four years now and I don't think it's something that they will permit to happen again if they get any say about it.
Also, cast your mind back to Obama's time in office - do you recall how promptly he got to work dismantling constitutional protections again illegal searches and changing the US government to one that ran on unchallenged executive orders?
