I already voted and along with the rest of my family we voted for Trump. My brother is paranoid and said he is going to prepare for the worst and assume Biden will win due to the polls. I get what he is saying because I don’t want to assume a landslide but I do wonder about how the usual suspects in media keep pushing poll numbers and “corona surges”. The timing of it all. I voted for Trump in 2016 and honestly was shocked when he won but they say now that the polls are better.
Anyone else a little paranoid or worried?
Although if Biden wins I’ll move on with my life. My parents taught me this Weird lesson that things won’t always go my way.
I worry more about the gubernatorial election because that has a more direct influence on my life.
Still the US remains a big country, with a lot of undeveloped areas where one could drop off the face of the earth provided they filed their income tax returns, paid their property taxes, and didn't modify firearms for strangers.
The saving grace of our present managerial oligarchy is that our managerial oligarchs don't inspire any passion or loyalty in their foot-soldiers and don't pay them enough to buy that passion or loyalty, so if you don't want to be found there's probably not going to be much effort put into finding you provided you don't do something stupid.
