Nope, nope, nope. None of the original writers are involved, so there's no way I'm going to acknowledge that zombified version of my favorite childhood show exists.
I hate to be overly sensitive but once they pack entertainment with nonsense I’ve just happily been watching shows from 2014 or prior.
A while back when catching up on movies and shows I realized that that seems to be the year after which things went to shit. There's a stark contrast between stuff released up to 2014 and stuff released since then. Like they flipped a switch.
I've got a theory. Here's the timeline:
2000 - George W. Bush is elected with a Republican controlled congress. Textbook fascism!
2006 - The Democratics take control of both the house and senate
2008 - Barack Obama is elected. It's 2000, but with Democrats in charge. Things are great and Republicans will never be in power again!
2010 - Republicans take the house. It's a set back, but we can recover!
2014 - The Republicans take control of the Senate. Guys! Fascists are taking over!

Stupid Chicken? There was no chicken on Animaniacs. Just that one character who kept having weirdos mistake him for a giant chicken.
That's the one I meant. Chicken Boo. Ok as a one joke hit, but got seriously stale really quick. Same with Katie Kaboom (just a teenager who gets literally set off by the smallest, stupidest things.) Even the kid with the dog got a little lame, until the dog up and quit. These segments worked on too tight of a formula, unlike the Amimaniacs, Skippy and Slappy, and Pinky and the Brain segments.
Elmyra was fine in Tiny Toons, where she was always lugging around Furrball the cat, but man, those Animaniacs bits stunk.
Yeah, it's where she should have stayed, too - at least she made sense there, as a flipped interpretation of Elmer Fudd (kill 'em by squeezing the stuffins out of them instead of shooting them).
I don't know what retard wanted to push her into the Pinky and the Brain show, but that idiot should have been ... given the Clockwork Orange treatment, only with classic cartoons.
Alright, i was kind of sold until then, jesus fucking christ why.
