I agree completely, the wide range of people is a big part of how reddit maintains its hegemony. I'm hopeful that as it descends further into an open echo chamber, more people will drift away, and hopefully maybe some of those drift here.

I'm getting to enjoy the ability to be utterly shocked, having made the mistake of thinking I'd become horribly jaded prior to the clowns coming in.

Engaging directly with these arguments isn't arming yourself, it's allowing these types to frame the terms of the conflict and all but handing over a win.

Just gameplay-wise, it's an excellent ARPG, and you can get enough out of it completely free to decide if you want to carry on with it.
