All I can do is save up money to move out, which I am and have been doing, I just don’t have nearly enough at the moment.

Most of my friends either still live with their parents or are in college, so that’s a no, been asking coworkers and that’s been better but also no, right now I’m looking into low income apartments (which I’ve actually been to, been checking out the ones closest to me and I’ve found three that are actually good places in decent areas close to where I work), so my goal is since I’m scheduled to take my shot, and I already edited the appointment to where it’s the influenza shot only, to try and subterfuge it, and if that doesn’t work, go with the goal of letting my mom give me time to find a place to live instead of abruptly kicking me out.
Actually having a plan makes it easier to say no, because I actually know my options.
She won’t find out, because I’ll ask the doctor if they can say I took it and give me a second bandaid so it looks like I took it, but because it’s a chain clinic, idk if that’s realistic. Either way, I’m slowly getting more prepared for what happens next.
But yeah, hopefully it doesn’t come to that, but we’ll see, I’m gonna ask coworkers over the next couple of days to see if I can crash at their places in case of the worst, but who knows.

The two benefits that I see myself getting if the worst case scenario happens is I finally have an excuse to go back to the gym, because if I end up homeless and having to live out of my car, I will at least force myself to have regular access to a shower and bathroom via the local gym, plus I’ll finally learn what it means to live on my own.
For context, I took the Moderna 2 shot vaccine in February of 2021, and the booster in the middle of last year, but haven’t had the topic come up since. The only reason I took the booster was because I didn’t know if I could confront her about it then, but I’m a lot more confident about doing so now, so we’ll see.
I can also edit the appointment from my end, so I edited it to just be a flu shot instead of flu and COVID, especially since I was able to find the appointment slot right before the time she put it for, so I’m going to go to the clinic early, take my one flu shot, wait for mom to get there and then see what happens from there.
Nah, I already took the first one because we have our bed ridden grandmother and she got the whole family to take theirs during that early period, I thought I couldn’t avoid the third one so I took that one reluctantly, but I’ve only gotten flu shots since, and the topic hasn’t come up until now.
