Really? And miss the chance to shame jock-turned-incel Bill?

A symptom of quality entertainment? Not sure what point you're trying to make.

Mmm, cope. If nobody does anything, I'm not a coward, I'm smart.

I'm the only reason my local school doesn't leave up Pride flags in the kindergarden classrooms year round (they used to). If there were five more like me, they wouldn't have them in classrooms at all. If there were 50 more, our Board wouldn't raise them during Pride. 500 more and they'd be banned from schools entirely.

If that's suicide, I'm still here.

The crazy part is: we are going to miss out on genuinly talented actresses because it's just not worth the risk of spending money on media made by people who hate you. The actresses don't care, to them it's just a role, but they're going to have to pay attention to avoid becoming political pawns in the culture wars.

Probably why so many of them are openly activist.

We are in a war, but that just makes your point even more important. How can you fight effectively when you are unable to rest?

Which is why their vanguard is always made from young people who've never had to care for another living soul; they have zero frame of reference.

Even worse, they never know what they're talking about.

Remember when Luanne replaced Nancy as the weathergirl? Didn't sexualize, my ass.

There is a big difference between exploring universal topics and pushing a current day perspective on those universal topics.

To Kill a Mockingbird is a great example. Ostensibly it's about racism and changing the political landscape, but it's actually about a man being unjustly persecuted by an unfair jistice system due soley to his ancestry. You could transpose the story into any number of other times or places and it would work just as well, which is what makes it a classic.

Contrast this to Uncle Tom's Cabin. That one is openly political and specific to the institution of American slavery to the point where you really couldn't set the story anywhere else. It's often touted as an important cultural book but, in terms of actual timeless quality, it's pretty mediocre.

To your example, imagine a story about a young woman from Baltimore fighting for Reparations in the present day. Outside of this very specific context, it's completely nonsensical tripe that no one except these political agitators can relate to.

I didn't use to, but today a black/female main character necessarily means BIPOC/feminist evangelism.

I have no problem with Non-White Males in entertainment, I do have a problem with propaganda being touted as entertainment, especially because it's not entertaining.

See, I agree with the bread and circuses thing; the main reason ou political systems are falling to fringe ideologues is because the vast majority of us have completely neglected our political responsibilities. A big part of that is rampant escapism.

That said, I'll take a few hours here or there to just read/watch/play something that I enjoy and I dpn't begrudge anyone that. Inserting your politics into hobby groups is not the same as delegating to city council or campaigning for your favourite candidate. Not only are those people still shirking responsibility, they're also ruining the few good cultural artifacts we have left.

Does he post his proof? As someone else mentioned, I would never trust anyone with a name like Rosen to investigate paedophilia.

Edit: It's not the voting machines, it's the poll books.

Don't worry, everyone, it's not the machines that count your vote that are affected, it's the machines that verify it you are allowed to vote in the first place.

No wonder they never found evidence of voter fraud, it's not happening in the voting machines.

And, I'm taking it, they kill the whale instead of getting it back in the water, like White people?

Sucks when your tiny canoes aren't big enough to get your own whales, I guess.

Got an names? Sounds like a large number of people need to be jailed for "inciting political violence".

Eh, that's like cheering for a raindrop to fall off an awning. It's going to happen either way, just a matter of when.

This is where I'm stuck. I cannot believe, even with DEI, that the USSS could be this incompetent.

When's the last time you heard a spoiler for a Marvel movie? How many people work on those?

Are people seriously saying the guy shot his ear on purpose? First I've heard of it.

My take was always that we have no confirmation that Trump got hit in the ear until after he goes down, other than Trump himself touching his ear. If he's in on it, it would be trivial to touch his ear, go down, quickly apply make-up over a couple seconds, then you're back up for the fist pump with your secret service flippers hanging off your arms.

Sounds like he's pushing a thoery that never existed?

You know what we should do? We should make a campaign to get the police kicked off X! That'll show them...

This is why I don't think we should be cancelling people; it doesn't matter compared to the actual problem: Whites are second class citizens in their own justice systems. That's what we need to fix, and then all these rioters go to jail or get deported.

Imagine if there were an equal crowd of Whites showing up at the police station (or at the scene) to free this woman? That option is rapidly becoming impossible.

What word should we use now that we can't say m*ddle-aged without triggering people?

There are several words that come to mind, especially for this woman.
