What was the "false claim" thing?
I'm interested in those actions and have no interest in playing it. Care to elaborate?
You know. Ive had the same experience. I've never made the connection of avoiding eye contact to preserve a peaceful interaction, but that is absolutely the learned behavior. Interesting.
I think face blindness might be a result of that, but also could be fundamental coincidence or even genetic. My dad can't do it either
Never mind I just read it. It's appalling.
How the fuck did they outdo OMD.
I feel like it's a broad tradition for spider man reboots to start with "everyone hates Parker for some secret reason... oh wait they just hate him for no reason at all!"
Even Ultimate Spider-Man v2 did that lol
Daughter of Frankenstein is built with Wizards of the Coast's 5e system but given the recent developments with the D&D OGL and the rising number of players now looking to other TTRPG systems beyond Dungeons & Dragons, Bardhouse Media is looking to adapt the book to more. "We're starting off with 5e because up until a couple of months ago, I'd only had experience with 5e," Beth the Bard told me. "That's what I've done 40-plus hours a week for years now. But when the whole debacle happened, I was like, 'Okay, I'll try another one.' And I was like, 'Oh, these other ones are really fun too.' But the book had already basically been completely written with 5e in mind so I was like, 'Let's just keep it going that way.' But we're already going to make a second version of the entire book built for Jayden's Back 2 BASICS system that he built--it's a really cool, much more narrative-based system. We definitely want to be branching out and working with other stuff."
So wtf, I hate this “there’s no way into the industry. Also I’ve only ever played literally one game and I don’t understand how mechanics work”. You’re not talented. You’re garbage. You fail because you’re garbage.
"Playing in a [Vaesen] game where you weren't a magic caster and you were just a human doing things, I was like, 'Oh, this is better for horror,'" Beth the Bard said. "I loved their archetypes. You got the doctor, the occultist, the investigator--things like that. And I was like, 'I really need these Sherlock Holmes or Penny Dreadful kind of character feeling vibes [in Daughter of Frankenstein]. How do we do that?' And [King] was like, 'Okay, I got you.'"
This isn’t a revelation. How can you get a job writing when you’re this stupid, have read this little that you can’t even recognize trope #1 of your genre?
Also everybody who talks like this makes me what to puke and spew
She did something similar with the Halo books she was involved in. She started the “Halsey is a devilish straight villain” and “the Spartans are mentally disturbed emotional wrecks” crusades as well as a number of other things that were equally horrible.
If I remember right she’s also the one who started rewriting the forerunners as psychotic despots with her trilogy.
It’s a habit of hers to ruin shit she doesn’t actually comprehend
You’re….. very new here.
This article is written so horribly it makes me want to spew puke across the author’s desk.
Journalism generally, and social interest writing specifically is such a cosmic and awful dumpster fire it makes me wonder how these people can live day after day without blowing their tiny brains out with a shotgun.
It's amazing how little I give a fuck about how you feel in this comment.
If your race/culture have become such a liability that the public at large doesn't find it worth it to deal with you.... cry me a fucking river.
