Is the author honestly excited, or stuffing as much snark as the article can fit without being obviously disrespectful?
For example, when discussing the film title, the line "...the word "mutant" is in it two times!" feels more like a snide remark than actual hype. The Mondo Gecko comments also remind me of an inside joke/reference that is being used to mock those who get it rather than a shared joy of niche fandom knowledge.
Either way, Seth Rogen tends to defile anything he touches, so I have little to no hope for this movie being something worth watching.
Censorious anarchist? Asexual polyamorist? I enjoyed reading 1984, but watching it lived out in real time is much less pleasant.
Not only did the parents know what the church believed, they signed a contract/belief statement where they agreed to uphold those beliefs so their children could go to that school.
If you no longer believe what your church believes, leave and find another rather than antagonizing that church and it's members to the point where they force you out. Two wrongs do not make a right, nor do two rudes make a polite.
Tinker Bell is much too white coded, so she's being recolored then renamed Twerka Boo to resonate with modern audiences.
Actions speak louder than words. If you call someone "stunning and brave," but do not ask them to act as such and instead treat them like eternal children or human pets, it is pretty obvious what your true feelings are.
