I would say when you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

If this is Impossible1, I'm going to level with you.

I'm generally MRA, I followed all the MRM stuff. I completely see how jacked up feminism is.

There was a point where I couldn't see ANYTHING except feminism.

I have not grown one single bit more "pro feminism" today than I was in high school.

The difference between high school me and today me regarding feminism is two things.

  1. I learned to control my anger, or rather God softened my heart and gave me the spiritual fruit of self control so I wouldn't fixate to the level of being frothing hateful about feminism. Don't get me wrong, I still despise feminism, but I can also just scoff at it and criticize it, and break it down without getting emotionally attached which I couldn't do in the past. Back then, everything was a nail because I was obsessed with that issue to an unhealthy degree. It's a serious issue and is in most ways case zero for the fall of the west. Without getting rid of feminism, nothing will ever truly be fixed....Hardly any conservatives will accept that truth unfortunately. So I agree with you that feminism is a larger problem than people talk about, but it's not all encompassing to the point of it being like a god, which is what you've elevated it to. You've given feminism more tendrils than even feminists gave the "patriarchy". Your shake falling on you at Mcdonalds is not the fault of feminism. Some times things happen for other reasons.

  2. The other thing that changed, that allowed me to chill out about feminism just a bit, though I still despise it whenever it comes up, is that feminism is losing a bit of power. Not nearly enough. Conservatives want to ban the "trans in women's sports" which is something feminists created, so Conservatives always bail feminists out, from the Frankenstein monster they themselves create, but in general, feminism is not as en-vogue as it was when I was in highschool in the late 2000s to early 2010s. It brings me great joy that I rarely hear the word patriarchy any more. There's a sense that women are embarrassed to call themselves feminists. In fact, most feminists like to hide behind the acronym TERF, hoping most people forget the F stands for feminist. There's a stink to feminism and carrying that label that wasn't there 12 years ago.

I smile knowing I rarely see the word "patriarchy" and "mysoginy" that much. Back in the day, you couldn't go a day without seeing feminists screeching constantly about it.

Why not celebrate that little victory that being seen as a feminist is something women are distancing themselves from?

Modern women still suck, I'm not saying anything to the contrary, but at least I'm not banging my head against the wall about the fake "wage gap" (Women don't understand choices in jobs like black people don't understand per-capita), the patriarchy, etc constantly like I used to because it's not AS prevelant as it used to be.

The main, major point though is, without the Holy Spirit and His guidance, you'll be constantly having only your own thoughts to bounce back, and when people doom scroll in one particular topic, it can be all encompassing and demoralizing and can result in it recieving size and placement that is disproportional to reality.

Seek Christ, seek first the Kingdom of Heaven. You could convince the entire world to come around to this particular brand of anti-feminism, and the result would be for nothing. What does it profit a man to gain the world but forfeit his soul, as the Bible says.

You need forgiveness and salvation because of the coming judgement, where all people, men, women, feminists, and non-feminists alike will be judged according to whether they accepted Christ. That's the reason you need Christ and His forgiveness. All other reasons don't compare. But a bonus is that upon belief, you recieve The Helper, that is the Holy Spirit that transforms and renews your mind, particularly when you read God's word.

So you'll still be anti-feminist as anyone who understands the Bible understands that the Bible and feminism is not compatible, but you will gain wisdom for things to be in the proper places.

I can't help you sort out ideas, and I'm not saying you will come to all the conclusions I have.

There's no one I agree with everything on 100%. But you will be able to see the main things as the main things, and everything falls into place as secondary compared to the gospel, so it puts the correct order of importance for things. There are Christians who are feminists and it doesn't mean they're going to hell. They're forgiven, just like I'm forgiven, because they've accepted Christ, it just means that they believe a foolish thing.

If believing a foolish thing disqualified you from Christ's salvation, not a single person would ever go to heaven.

In Russia you can be as politically incorrect as you want and no one bats an eye.

If you are anti-government enough you get in trouble.

If you gave me the choice to use my freedom of speech to talk about culture (I hate all the ghetto crap) without fear, or the freedom of speech to criticize the government, I'd take the former any day of the week.

I really don't care that much about politics and would prefer to go back to not knowing or thinking about it at all. Politics landed on me because of all the wokeness being at that level.

If I looked through everything I've ever posted ever, the names Obama, Biden, Trump, etc would make up a fraction of a percent.

The things I actually talk about, culture war stuff, is the stuff that would get the police at my door at the UK, but would result in Russians nodding along and either agreeing or talking about it in Russia with no legal consequences.

If you look up the arrests in the past year for social media posts in the UK vs arrests in Russia for social media posts, it's not even close.

I can't remember the exact numbers, but the scale was something like 8,000 in Russia compared to like 100,000 in UK approximately.

There's only one unwritten rule in Russia speech. Don't openly criticize the ruling powers.

Ok....so the rule pretty much every nation has had for all of history, got it.

In UK, and America (when democrats get back in office) the rules become

"don't misgender, don't dead name, don't say anything that could be construed as racist, don't be apolitical, don't have the wrong politics when you are political, don't say anything anti gay, trans, Islam, etc etc etc and on and on and on."

That is way more of a stifling culture than "don't criticize Putin".

For a nation where I can use the word faggot as a slur in public and no one thinks anything of it, that's a level of freedom I haven't known in America in a long time.

Even with total ability to criticize the government, it's not an ability I excercise all that much because to me, politics are, and always will be lame.

I'd rather criticize feminism, ghetto culture, things like that because that lives where I live. Politics is distant, removed.

Exactly, the original album was clearly going for an easthetic, it looked good.

The right image is just, color 1, color 2, color 3,

Zero design. It looks like what a college student would whip up in photoshop in less than 5 minutes.

StaticNoise2 10 points ago +10 / -0

This isn't exactly relevant time wise, it's just I was listening to the album on Youtube and remembered this.

For the 50th anniversary of the album, Pink Floyd or whoever owns the rights, came out with that right image as their general look/promotional.

Many people including myself said it looks like they're catering to the "lgbtqi96sksdfj+++x^tothe3rdpower" crowd (tried to make sure I didn't miss any identities.

Twitter responses were like "You snowflake right wing morons, the rainbow was literally the album cover for Dark Side of the Moon"

I know...we all know. I've been into Pink Floyd since I was in like 6th grade. I had a dark side of the moon arm bracelet thingy I'd wear to middle school when I went through my "only wearing black + rocker accessories" cringy phase.

If the arm bracelet thing looked like the image on the right, I'd never wear it because it'd be gay looking.

It's a pure gaslight thing.

I don't know what makes the right image look so much like the gay flag whereas the original image doesn't conjur that even today.

I think it's the hue of colors chosen.

That left image, I picked the one with the brightest primaries on google I could find. There were other examples of less bright primaries, more faded. And even with the brightest I could find, it's not as bright as the right image. That right image looks like every June when every company looks like gay parade, where it's intentionally ugly.

This comes down to a difference in definition of freedom, based on what you hear, vs what I'm saying. It's a common problem across all people. When people don't know the definition someone's using, we'll hear the definition we think of and react, when that wasn't the definition that they meant.

In the Bible, those who sin are slaves to sin.

Those who "do whatever they want that's right in their own eyes" are the most enslaved people.

Contrastingly, those who the Son sets free is free indeed! and the ones who are freed by Christ also imitate Christ and do not do the deeds of darkness. It doesn't mean Christians don't sin, we struggle and sin often. It means, we no longer have a mind that is beholden to darkness and nothing else, we're freed from the slavery of only obeying our flesh. We are now free to have a mind that puts Christ, puts God in the proper place of worship in our minds and heart, we're free to choose to hold our thoughts captive to Christ...You become a slave to Christ, but everyone's a slave, either to their flesh (which is ultimately a slave to Satan) or a slave to Christ. Only in Christ is that slavery a positive thing and is more like freedom.

That's true freedom.

Now even among atheists, when the society was more Christian minded, it helped their mind even if they weren't aware of it. There's a reason why even atheists could write good art in the 20th century....because their mind was being influenced by Christian thought subconsciously in ways they weren' even aware of it, even if they were anti-Christian themselves.

So when I say a "free mind" , I'm not talking about the libertarian "everything consensual is permitable dude...." freedom.

I'm talking about a mind that isn't subject to being given over to the Romans 1 depravity that minds get given over to, that in modern day West, we are seeing in huge swaths of the West.

Having a mind that isn't utterly given over to depraved mind is the ultimate freedom in terms of having a mind and being able to create art that is worthwhile.

With a mind that is given over, the best you can produce is ugliness, tearing down what's beautiful....etc.

u/HallucinatoryBeing

CaptainTrouble is right here.

The guy who created Conan the Barbarian, Solomon Kane, he created both of those in his 20s, living in a small po-dunk town in Texas. he had commited suicide at like the age of 32.

He created those by being well read and creative, not by leading an extraordinary life.

It can help, having an interesting life, but it's more about what CaptainTrouble says. Your output is severely impacted by your input. If the input you start with is ugliness, wokeness and the opposite of freedom, there's zero chance of you producing art that is good.

People could live a boring life and create good art if their minds aren't poisoned.

Also why doesn't it ever go the other way?

"If you're bothered by neo nazis simply hanging out in their clubhouses and bars, not bothering people, just trying to live their life....you're suspect....I bet you secretly have Swazikas all over you house"

Funny, it never works for that.

Or "Atheists, if you hate Christians who you never interact with, I bet secretly you're a Christian and you secretly read the Bible and pray when no ones looking"

But the gay thing, they want to pull everyone into their sexual fantasy that everyone is like them on some level because they know it's wrong, so if they convince it's "more than a minority" then they can make-believe it's ok and justify it.

StaticNoise2 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yeah, I posted to the Donald and somebody replied just with the comment "90s has-been trying to stay relevant".

Like I said, I had no idea who he was, but it tracks and looking him up he has written shows. I didn't do a deep dive on him, I just looked him up enough to see if he was gay or not, because that changes the level of cuckery, not that it makes it any better if he is gay, but it does change the level of patheticness if he's not.

8
StaticNoise2 8 points ago +8 / -0

This is one of the cuckiest "comedy" sets I've ever seen.

I had no idea who this guy is, had to look him up. Presumebly straight, was married to a woman.

Even a gay guy delivering this message would be eye-roll inducing.

But a presumably straight guy delivering this routine is about the single cuckiest thing I've ever seen

Fair point, I'm fixing it. It'll take a bit, lot of mixing around of scenes done in this, but it's worth the effort.

Yeah, I created a new account, using a name that can't be linked to my controversial substack to be.

Just going to "farm karma" by saying "wow great job" or other generic niceties to popular threads, until I get Karma to post in places, then I'll post it on a Friday evening around New Years, as Explosions and New Years go together pretty well.

3
StaticNoise2 3 points ago +3 / -0

No worries haha. I didn't do any one thing....I got enough small 24 hour bans that Reddit finally permenantly banned me.

Just saying simple things like "gay" here, or just giving an unpopular opinion there.

Tiny stuff, but it happened enough times that Reddit finally permenantly banned me.

I've actually with this new account, accidently logged in without a VPN and I haven't been banned. I think it's because my activity is totally different. Before when I tried to create an account, I'd go right back to the 3D communities and Reddit could tell I was the same person. Now I don't go anywhere near the r/anaglph or share my channel so it may not be a true IP ban, so they haven't flagged that I'm the same person yet.

StaticNoise2 1 point ago +1 / -0

Oh, also, once someone volunteers, when you post the link, have the title simply be "Over 1 Hour of Movie Explosions" (without the quotes obviously and keeping the capitlization as is with only the o in "of" being not capitilzed) as that's what I was going to title it. Don't get fancy or creative on me here.

1
StaticNoise2 1 point ago +1 / -0

My Karma is too low to post in r/movies.

The other problem is my new profile to circumvent my permenant IP ban, is tied to a blog on substack that will be fairly controversial and I don't want to be doxxed. If one of you, and only one could post that movie explosions video to r/movies at exactly 6PM CST today

r/actionmovies at 6:30 PM CST today

and r/masculinity rocks at 7:00 PM CST today, you'd have my gratitude.

Someone who has decent Karma, enough to be able to post, but also doesn't care if they get banned for Reddit assuming it's "self promotion".

Again, I'd do it myself and that was my plan, but after finding out I don't have enough Karma to post in r/movies, and I was already not keen on the idea as my substack name is the same on Reddit, and will be controversial, I thought better of it and was hoping someone would do that for me.

You have my sincerest thanks. I have a lot of unused codes for games and software on humble bundle. In exchange for doing that, I'll send you a list of unused games and you name one you want and I'll PM you the code as thanks for doing this for me.

Obviously again, your Karma has to be high enough that you can post to r/movies.

EDIT: Oh, also, once someone volunteers, when you post the link, have the title simply be "Over 1 Hour of Movie Explosions" (without the quotes obviously and keeping the capitlization as is with only the o in "of" being not capitilzed) as that's what I was going to title it. Don't get fancy or creative on me here.

I had made a 3D version of this like a year ago, and it was only 3D because for my thinking I was like "I'm a 3D channel, and that's only what I'll upload".

But 3D is niche and considering how long and painstaking this was to do, it was seriously limiting my appeal, because this is a video with fairly large appeal if not for the 3D thing.

So I uploaded the 2D, normal version.

I'll be posting it to various [P]reddit[or] communities in a few hours but I wanted to share it with the chads here first.

Because, while I'll share it there for the wider reach....I share it here because I consider you my friends....no, more than that....I consider you my romantic lovers....especially you....you know who you are.

As I was looking for places where I could post on Reddit, there was the obvious ones, like r/action movies, r/movies, etc.

But would you find it hard to believe that when you type "masculinity" into Reddit, all the top communities are anti-masculinity?!

I know, I'm as shocked as you are that Reddit doesn't have many pro-masculinity subreddits. But I did find one called "Masculinity Rocks" and I'll be posting it there.

Anyways, I warn you about watching this video. It may result in spontaneous chest hair growth....if you're a woman, make sure you drink like two gallons of soy milk just to counteract the testosterone in the video.

Tarantino has always been consistent about Battle Royale. He was picking it in earlier interviews before Hunger Games ever came out.

But yes, I don't like Japan and Japanese culture, so I'm 100% with you on Running Man over Battle Royale. I tried Battle Royale and only made it about 10 minutes because of the japanesey-ness. Japan's culture is too weird, don't know how people can tolerate their media.

1970s Godzilla movies is as far as it goes for Japanese media for me, and even then, they get WEIRD....like those two women chanting some sort of worship song for Mothra...forget which one it was, but it was in that era of Godzilla films. It went on for like 6 minutes of them singing some Mothra song...it was bizarre.

I agree with basically everything else you said except I don't kow why you think Black Hawk Down is bad. I agree that Ridley Scott is one of the most overrated directors of all time, who's name should not carry the weight it does, but Black Hawk Down is pretty good if you're comparing it to the genre in my opinion. I'll put it this way...it's good enough that I didn't even associate it with Ridley Scott until you mentioned it. I associate it with Jerry Bruckheimer who makes a lot of entertaining films. Since his name is also attached to that film and the film is entertaining, he's the name I think of when I think of Black Hawk Down.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here.

Top twenty films of the 21st century would be really hard for me to do.

If I made a top 20 films of all time; I think only one single film from the 21st century would make the list; that would be K-Pax from 2001

I know people like the 2000s and I do too because it had amazing video games, but I thought the 2000s were junk when it came to movies and music.

We went from Alice in Chains and movies like Truman Show, to stuff like Colplay and Justin Timberlake, and the movies were hot garbage.

No, I don't even like Lord of the Rings.

That's not to say there aren't films from the 2000s that I like. There are. I enjoy the Transporter, as well as plenty of others, but making a top twenty films of the 20th century would be dang hard, as they're all pretty much mediocre compared to the 90s and earlier.

I won't even attempt my own top 20 list because it would all just be action movies that I thought weren't complete trash, like Punisher War Zone, or heck Punisher 2004 for that matter.

And you'd assume I have no film taste beyond that genre.

No, it's just the drama and acting of 2000s movies is so not to my tastes that the only things I like from that period is seeing some cool fight scenes, explosions, etc.

80s you had non action stuff that was amazing like Breakfast Club, 90s you had Home Alone (I truly believe it's a classic wonderful movie, not just a decent Christmas movie), and more.

The video is called "racist killer realizes she's caught".

The evidence that she's a "racist" is she has two confederate flags in her house....in the south.

How do I know it's the south? I was skipping through the video to find the "racist" parts so missed the state this was in, but everyone speaks with a southern accent including the police.

And who does this woman kill? Her white husband/partner, whatever the heck he is because she's "polyamourous".

There's even a point where the police share transcripts of her texts with the person she helped coordinate the murder with. Not a single mention of race in the transcripts. I figured, maybe at this point of the video it might be a thing where she said "we'll blame it on a black guy" or something to justify the video calling her "racist".

Nope, just straightforward, "we'll make it look like a suicide".

So the thumbnail has her confederate flag, calls her a racist because

she. has. a. confederate. flag. in. the. south.

and all parties, victim and perpetrators are white, and race is never mentioned by anyone.

That ticks me off to no end.

Sorry, had to share it.

EDIT: Not the south, it's in Utah, aka soutwest, but they all have the southern hick accent so probably still people who are generally allegient to the South.

Even if it was the north, a confederate flag isn't evidence of hating anyone. Black peple have confederate flags, it used to be on TV shows like Dukes of Hazzard, on lynyrd skynyd concerts, etc.

It's just a ubiquitous "I like the south" flag.

Couldn't the video title say "polyamourous killer realizes cops found her disturbing secret"? I mean, heck, that's actually something that's known and not simply being assumed. She straight up says that she's polyamorous, so rather than going for something the youtuber knew, he went for a mere guess, because of clickbait and anti-white bullcrap.

It is for me, both signed in and not signed in. I think it's a glitch with your browser or whatever you're viewing with.

A great and underrated song by him that has one of those moments I'm talking about that's so "metal-y" is the song Invisible. It's one of my favorite songs by him.

When you fast forward to 4:00 minutes into the song, the way he sings "aw, you know what it's like to LEAVVE HERRE" is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. It kicks so much butt and is 80s metal perfection.

I'm not talking about what he is, I'm talking about how he was percieved during the 80s looking from a distance, having not grown up then, and I don't think he had that synonymous perception back then as he did by pop culture in hindsight.
