Lately I have been seeing few threads about Canada and it made me lurk Kiwifarms and their huge mega thread about it. I guess the grievance and disdain towards Canada isn't new thing after all. As for that South Park's infamous blame canada song, I thought it was just making fun of it for the sake of making comedy film but the disdain towards the country was always there.

It's funny, too. I think Canada was at one point not leaning too liberal maybe in the 1950's. Or did it always lean liberal? Just because once in a blue moon there are famous people that don't seem to be far-left are Canadian. It's my subjective presumption of the game rather than being irritated by other people calling it indie. You might assume judging by my first comment, that I'm a bit annoyed at the game's success, that isn't quite it. If you watch the video to the end, it becomes obvious there are a lots of hidden supports and suspicious groups trying to bank on this game being successful. They are the reason I was motivated to make the thread in the first place.

I find this tiresome, this kind of cynical maneuver these parasites get into indie game industry. This makes me only vindicated that I don't really buy too many western games especially if they are suspiciously getting a lot of attention. I mostly follow Japanese Vtuber/streamer scene, I don't think I see any sort of he man or brolyesque musclebound characters. Kinda says a lot Japan isn't that crazy about musclebound or meathead type, and they still like androgynous type of characters.

Code switching is the tool of the midwit. I always hated the tendency of the far-left overusing the word too much, the meaning gets watered down and the word simply becomes catch-all insult.
