It’s been three years since the initial rules were posted, and they haven’t even been edited based on feedback. A bunch of them could just be lumped together as “no porn” and it’d be both easier to read and less stupid.

I’m still waiting on that comprehensive list of prohibited slurs, by the way.

I use “righteous” on occasion. It’s a little bit slangy, but in a way that hasn’t had its meaning flipped like with “sick”.

Ran, Yukari, and Keine come to mind, plus the tengu girls and definitely Byakuren. Not to detract from your point; I very much agree that lolis are a core part of the touhou fandom.

What we call Arabic numerals were actually developed in India between the third and fourth century. The Arabs adopted them in the ninth century, and from there they spread into Europe during the Middle Ages.

Just wanted to sperg out a bit, carry on.

There were other humans unrelated to Adam, according to Genesis 4:16. Cain was exiled to a land east of Eden, where he found a wife and had children. This implies the existence of other peoples even from a literalist perspective.

As for the evolutionary perspective, the degree of relation is key; it’s hardly appropriate to consider two species the same simply because they shared a common ancestor at some point prior. If that were the case, nearly anything with a spine could be considered a human relative.

The distinction between “related in a evolutionary sense” and “related in a genetic/ancestral sense” is somewhat muddy, but in terms of connotation I believe your original comment to be largely pedantic.
