Maybe not so much as "Kirby" as it is like those many, many "cutesy" horror indie games. I remember people, back when it was announced, expecting the horror reveal, or at least some adultish reveal, just by the trailer. Your description is still sound though.
I am sorry for your loss, as I like Destiny as well. Part of the reason why I'm here is because of SJW poison creeping into the things I like, even the miniscule stuff. I almost went insane in June. Even now I'm scared for the few things left.
It is kind of funny how all that SJW stuff does lead into a decline in quality once it makes itself known.
Like what Ableist said above, along with the fact Markiplier worked on the channel with some guy named CrankGameplays (Ethan), I think. That guy also had a post on here where he was totally fine with telling his Trump-supporting audience to fuck off, but I can't find the post.
Been playing L4D2 recently.
I watched a lot of speedruns, which gave me entertainment.
That, and a community update came out that really added some alright stuff, including new players.
Campaign I'm alright at (even if its Normal for now), but Versus has some good days and some bad days.
Thanks my dude.
As the other said, I think it either/or is just easy to digest. No compromises needed, just an extreme end and nothing else. It feels like some kind of autistic line of thought or something that newcomers will like.
You know, this reminds me of something.
I visited a thread on 8chan a long while back that started off by making fun of the newest comics run of The Shadow, an old pulp hero. It was a reboot, and there was something to do with school shooters. However, that doesn't matter that much.
What does matter is that as the thread went on, people started being nostalgic about the old stuff, and that led to people posting about a fairly old Batman crossover that had something to do with Shangri-La. The real meat came when someone posted a ton of links to the old radio plays and, I think, comics done in the 50s. God, there was nothing more amazing than seeing all these old fans come together.
The bad news is that I did not save the links, along with the thread probably being lost to time. I still have my memories though.
Of course, I could still look them up online, but I guess it won't be the same.
I just think it's really nice when people go looking for the old works, lost to some back alley comic book store.
Thanks, I just didn't know that part.
On a side note, I guess it would be helpful to stay aware of those who really want to defend the things they like. I know gatekeeping is good for keeping the things you like live a bit longer, but I assume there will be people who don't even like the thing they're defending, they just want to be rabid inquisitors. Being a fan comes first, being a gatekeeper comes second.
Edit: Now that I think about, there can be those who like a property, but still are rabid inquisitors, like those SU fans. I guess now it would be best to not fall into extreme actions for mild stuff. To be able to look in the mirror and realize what you're doing is wrong. If they can't do it, then someone else will have to disavow them, hopefully. Maybe there are solutions I'm not aware of.

The comments and like/dislike bar are still open, so that's something.
Goddammit I thought this whole "rapist" ban from some random EDH server was nothing news, but now we got "celebrities" in on this! Man you guys were right, I just had to take a break from Mtg for a while to feel refreshed.
As for Boogie, it would honestly be best for him if he got bullied off the internet. Both for our sake and his sake.
I'd wager it's just about money.
There seems to be the "whales" (essentially anybody who buys whatever the company throws out) who eats this stuff up, then there is the social justice minded or manchild people who, while possibly just a minority, are very vocal and thus get listened to. The whales buy, the normal people throw out questions of why this is needed, the company soothes them, or at least the vocal minority, with specific products to their tastes, and then everythings okay. At least that's how I see it.
That, and the fact that WOTC thinks that the Commander/EDH format is the new hot thing, so there has been a push towards cards that can go well in EDH. In this case for Secret Lair, people will do anything to pimp out their decks. This can also apply to any format that's not Standard, like Modern or Legacy, maybe even Pauper. The limit now seems to be new cards, not reprints, featured in this product.
How about I just show the wiki page: https://mtg.gamepedia.com/Secret_Lair
The whole idea is some pretty dumb shit, I'll give you that.
Yeah, I sound a bit rambly, but this is the feel I've been getting from the subreddit and the general "famous" personalities. I could be stupid for assuming their hatred is anything big and for even listening to them, but I needed a jumping off point. If it's about the Secret Lair stuff, then WOTC has been milking the "whales" for money ever since December of last year.

That's the first article I saw of it. To my knowledge, she and her buddies have also tried mass flagging other people for reporting on the mass flagging.
Edit: It's funny how ZombaeKillz is also on the frontpage for dumb race tweets and bad parenting. Ain't it funny when worlds collide?
