You're quite retarded.

I already told you.

You haven't shared your opinion on that. But it's okay. YOu clearly are illiterate or something

Then by all means, call up her agent and give her a job.

...in what? Are you retarded?

is she a bad influence

Let me be more clear because you're reallyyyy bad at context. I'm asking you this question about your opinion on the situation.

Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's what I did and you made a fuss about it.

1
Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

And my point is that it's irrelevant.

I disagree. Which is totally fine, we don't have to agree on everything, but it does have the potential to paint a very different picture of the situation.

is she a bad influence

I'm asking you this question. Do you have any opinion, or do you just let others tell you how to think? It's starting to feel like the latter, and you just want to be controversial instead of using critical thought.

Lol yeah you're really bad at context.

I'm asking you if you follow the standards of not commenting on another culture if you're not part of their demographic. Or are you saying this only applies to the Japanese?

1
Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

No, you are not.

I am. I was asking if you knew, and you don't. My research doesn't pull up much on it. We still don't know how it became known that she was underage drinking.

is she a bad influence

I'm asking you this question. Do you have any opinion, or do you just let others tell you how to think?

Yes that's very good! One of us isn't! I'm very proud of you you're such a smart girl.

I assume you follow those standards yourself? You never ever remark on what people in another country may do?

Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm establishing standards and what the facts are about this situation. You don't know then how it was found out?

If a woman is a children's presenter on TV, and every public image of her is well presented to children, but in her private life she drinks underage and gossip channels catch wind and start spreading the news, is she a bad influence, or is the media for spreading the allegations?

1
Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

You're not very good at context, huh?

1
Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

How was it discovered that she drank underage?

1
Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

So your claim then is that, for a public figure, they can have absolutely zero influence of children unless an act is done directly in front of them? Sorry but that doesn't hold water either.

I agree! This claim doesn't hold water. Phew, I sure am glad I didn't say that, nor do I believe it! Would be pretty stupid to think that. My questions are asking about what exactly she did wrong. Just trying to establish the facts.

If a woman is a children's presenter on TV, and every public image of her is well presented to children, but in her private life she drinks underage and gossip channels catch wind and start spreading the news, is she a bad influence, or is the media for spreading the allegations? This is why I asked the questions that I asked.

They do. That's the point.

Great! I'm asking what those standards are.

Was she drinking in front of the kids? Was she telling the kids to drink? Where did her bad influence come into play?

Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

My argument is that if we are going to erase someone from a show, we should be clear about what it's actually for. To lean on it being for the morals of underage drinking is a direct statement that the morals are fucked up.

What you're actually calling "wrong" is something I did not say nor believe.

2 guys have voiced Elmo and one is a pedophile.

I think expecting someone to cater their personal life to their screen persona is stupid. Obviously, some offenses are greater than others, underage drinking being mild at best.

Was she drinking in front of the kids? Was she telling the kids to drink? Where did her bad influence come into play?

Because if this is something we should take seriously, then we should have standards of what specifically is not allowed.

Uh huh. I'm sure everyone who's drank underage there has been cancelled.

Modeler43 1 point ago +1 / -0

If a minor TV star has her career killed because of underage drinking, yet so many huge stars have done so much worse and their careers are even bolstered, then morality is not the reason for the minor TV star. It's dishonest to pretend the reasoning is about something like underage drinking lol.

People don't care about the addictive/destructive nature of alcohol and protecting the youth. They cared about this particular person losing her status. If they cared about alcohol consumption, why aren't so many more celebrities cancelled?

It is a bit redditor that's maybe my biggest complaint, but it's overshadowed by the rest. I've been loving the iron tangle of book 3 so far.

Modeler43 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you liked that then I think you'll get a kick out of this. It's a 7 book series

3
Modeler43 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes!

The book starts with him outside trying to wrangle a cat, and while he's out there the entire earth collapses when an alien race mass mines all of their resources at once, the only survivors being those who didn't have a roof over their heads at the right moment. Stairs then open up to the survivors to invite them to an intergalactic dungeon crawler game show. Carl enters with the cat and they become a crawler party to reach as far as they can

It's fun, it's funny, it's gory, I've enjoyed it
