That is one of the point of worry, I'm not completely in the loop of the fork Redot, but it seems to be made up of programming normies, and they are not really in the loop of these things at all, and Rust is supposed to be hip.... ( I know it is quite infested ground, but most normies don't) And it's vision is not Anti-Woke it's more try to be non political (at least that seems to be the idea at the time), So in essence quite worried that the lead will not be able to effectively gate keep but will keep an eye out.

Indeed, he did use the same username across a lot of different places...

It is a shame that Godot is rotten to the core and currently it seems Redot is being spammed, will have to see if they get a functional culture working, but it does worry me that the small talks about removing the c++ and go with rust from some (So it seems to be that perhaps a few new normies has been temporarily awoken or it is just the devil in another shape again, haha) and that the current vision seems to be just a fork with small improvements, Lack of stringent vision except for not political might mean that it will be captured again, if they show any type of success they will be target of capture for the leftists.

The lie you tell yourself.

Think about it folks, who can lie to you more effectively, more enticingly, who knows what you want to hear to believe something better than you yourself?

Obviously self deception is dangerous in and of itself, but once you've convinced yourself of a falsehood, it becomes easier to convince others, because the sincerity of your words compels others to believe what you say is true.

This would still to some extent need to resonate with the other lies already told, take the flat earth conspiracy and theory, sure you could wholeheartedly believe in it, but in order to convince other they need to start with not having any idea, or a very poor theory of their own idea, or the classic cult tactic of having their theory not being reinforced in their own surroundings.

Which is why I would argue the best lies are not the individual ones, but the ones you get an entire group to agree, since once that has been entrenched the computation to change is very low, and too costly to be done.

Or am just answering the wrong queries, haha

Perhaps someone better will pick up the ANNO and Settlers series, they do need some fresh competition

This is how they get the chinese people to accept the rule of Communism to this very day.

I'm not completely sold on this idea, sure they do tell that the west is the devil sort of, but it is mainly already done by a more complete eradication of their old culture and forcing it to be a nation of cowards and thieves, and then they do the standard of any con of keeping the fellow that need to appease the con man not be the main purp, but someone benefiting but more local than the state aka which is why it they get a lot more protest against local changes than the ones made by the gov, so in conclusion it is only a minor part in order to get them to accept the rule.

Yep. My guess is the breakdown of sociability and the ease of creating parasocial interactions is too blame.

I cannot say, I do not have trustworthy archive of it, and the server themself does not save any edits (it is interesting on how that function works, it seems to be some window in which edits can be done without being saved or noted, but they are not entirely time base, possibly based on upvotes/downvots), perhaps the context in which the statement were presumed to be made would help

MetallicBioMeat 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well, perhaps it was merely a server mishap which combined your text with someone else, but it was very strange gibberish about democrats and states where the only meaning seemed to be 47 to some significance, thus the query what does the number means?

MetallicBioMeat 4 points ago +4 / -0

What does the numbers mean? As I said there was gibberish, not coherent statement, in relation to acceleration.

I honestly believe something broke him 2 months ago, what that is or was I dunno, but he spurted gibberish which was removed and never answer my query about it.

That corruption means that you want to have incompetent people in which you can control?

All you have to do is ensure that there is a mass of people to blame that is not you which means that your ass is covered?

Blackmail is not only topdown but all over the place?

Beware above are just ideas, Hard to give answers to query that i'm not quite understanding.

Because it all about social leverage and not competence off the higher ups these days, and they can most of the time mitigate their losses.
