The heroic journey with no villainous army to defeat, becomes a bunch of psychos running around killing people for no reason.

Well that's...not...what the article says.

A Michigan Republican candidate for governor recently said that rape victims who become pregnant shouldn’t get abortions, according to a video of the comment that went viral Monday.

He used more words but it is clearly what he's saying -
https://twitter.com/HeartlandSignal/status/1488266722486493190

Really feels every time the dems shoot themselves in the foot the republicans run over and are like "No, we gotta win the foot shooting contest!" and it's a back and forth between them.

At one point he brings up a story of a woman being gang raped by 5 men in the subway and saying it was good she didn't have an abortion.

That's the biggest joke of feminism, the idea that women are kept from positions of power in society. No, they don't earn those positions, but they always have them.

Yup.

Same thing with the fake "wage gap" narrative.

This guys hands in this picture are secretly making a (made up) white supremacist symbol! We gotta get him!

You're going against our values so you're out.

What? How could this possibly happen to me??

I don't know, this seems more to me like they're doing that thing of attacking moderates so they only end up with extremists and yes-men in their group.

I see whoopi sometimes promoting blm and sometimes chastising blm members for being absurd...

“Does he not speak English?” Goldberg responded. “He wrote what he meant. It has nothing to do with him. It has nothing to do with black people, it has nothing to do with any of this. Quit trying to do that. You’re doing great stuff, don’t screw it up by doing something dumb.”

Guess who's behind the show on this.

It was important what Whoopi had a chance to address her comments on the show today where she made them and have an educational conversation with Janathan Greenblatt from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

The ADL is the Jewish organization that recently publicly changed their definition of racism to be "it's fine if it's against white people".

Are there other actual things that she's gone with? Because what she said about this seemed completely reasonable when it it wasn't taken out of context, and they're pissed off because she didn't agree with their race based narrative.

2
GhostBond 2 points ago +2 / -0

I honestly think this is some sort of hitpiece on her because she wouldn't agree with the party line about "jews perfect, nazis bad, everything because of racism". I read a slightly longer article on it and it sounded like the other hosts said the usually backwards dumb rhetoric while whoopie said the only sympathetic thing - especially if you realized it's on a high tension talk show and compressed into a few sentences.

It seems to me like they're working to smear anyone who's like a regular human being and tired of their shit.

I've read she believed she'd do better in hollywood if she had a jewish last name. She's very famous and successful now, so...perhaps she was right?

Hard to believe it's not part of something deliberate isn't it?

I wouldn't have been surprised at a 10% drop but 90% to 60% without any major external events...that's nuts. WWII ended in 1945.

2
GhostBond 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, I was thinking if you only count the below-retirement-age population the gap has to be even wider.

I thought it would be a drop of 10% or something especially with how hard they're trying to pretend it's an all white country.

Lol who do you think funds them? Feminists are bankrolled by someone, individuals don't have this kind of reach outside of billionares. Every feminist narrative carefully aligns with corporate interests.

But the vax mandates only work if people go back to the office.

I don't think they care, it's about power and control, forcing people to do things that don't even make any sense is a power trip.

I mean, that's how I feel. I've never been happier with work than when I got put remote and no longer had to walk through a fucking minefield to appease terrible people.

The most happy I've been at work was with cool coworkers and cool bosses.
The 2nd most happy I've been at work is with cool coworkers and not so great bosses.

The worst place I've worked I was the only person in that office everyone else was remote. It was horrible and terrifying.

Working around people was rather fun 10 years ago, before this shit-show meltdown.

The thing is he's already at the "child support" phase. The only thing he gets if he moves out is having to pay rent on a 2nd place.

She looks more like the "I didn't mature past childhood so I don't really like sex" kind of "lesbian" rather than the man hating kind.

If you ask me, I'd put odds on that he's red-pilling it. The article hints there may be something else going on with him:

"Ryan's often gone so he doesn't get to see the kids often. I'm trying to figure out my new career, while raising our kids."

And look at their pictures - there's nothing attractive about her at all, whereas he's fairly attractive. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it later comes out that he has 3 other "wives" around the country, or that he's gay, or whatever.

I know women have all the advantages and everything but how often do you see a woman that ugly marry a man that attractive?

Corporate has been trying to push the cost off office space onto employees for forever. As much as I dislike feminists, I feel like the feminist narrative has been more inline with the corporate narrative of pushing that financial stuff onto employees on this one.

You demand women be made into walking weapons in the workplace, the only way to protect yourself from them is work from home right?

3
GhostBond 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's because feminism is corporate funded and they carefully avoid attacking anything that would hurt corporate in general. Feminism is a way for them to push things corporate wants without id's corporate as the villain. They've shifted "no dating among employees because it distracts from their work" from the boss to feminism. Your boss may want to have his junk tugged off but the big corporate office finds that awarding jobs based on who can blow the best hurts productivity so they're against it. Sure they waste some money on hiring women but those women are useful in breaking male employee groups that start to function on their own. Etc, etc, etc.

They're happy to push these ideas if it doesn't hurt the corporate bottom line just look at "Mother Alleged She Was Virtually Groped in Attack Inside Facebook's Metaverse". You think "oh that's an attack" but in some ways it's marketing towards people who hadn't heard about the metaverse.

I don't really want to argue against you as much of what you're saying is what I think, except for the part where you think you can go psycho and defeat them.

You said:

Survive first, regain our humanity afterwards.

I've just reached the point that there is evil in the world, fight it where I can but don't be consumed by it's existence.

It's absolutely crazy that the US went from 90% white in the 1960's, to 60% white in 2020.

Is there any non-white nation that has changed that much in less than one persons lifetime?

2
GhostBond 2 points ago +2 / -0

It only goes 2 ways.

Either they do maintain power in which case you're fucked and there's no reason to turn into a psycho because you're fucked anyways.

Or, they lose power because of their fanaticism and the vast majority of people who are simply sheep following along suddenly forget how strongly they were for it before. I've been shocked in the past how so many people can so strongly believe in something today and a year or two later barely even remember it.

These fanatical people need a devil to justify their existence, and they're trying to turn you into one so they can point at you and go "see we were right all along".

The only way I've found to handle it is to do in group / out group. If they're fanatics, they're in the out group that I think their thoughts or opinion are worth anything.

It's a shit situation I'm just trying to figure out how to stay off the bottom of the pile of shit.

GhostBond 3 points ago +3 / -0

Survive first, regain our humanity afterwards.

Or you split into a group that doesn't let these people involve themselves.

Their tactic is to use your own sense of morality to beat you with, making having a sense of morality a liability. I think they know what they're doing and taking away your humanity is their goal and some part of their plan.

GhostBond 3 points ago +3 / -0

No one is saying they can't publish stupid opinions

You fight a losing battle when they can block your stupid opinions, but the other side can freely publish their own.

They want to pretend it's the 60's where the country was 90% white. It's only 60% white now and it's dropping. How do you think that's going to go for you with a generation of kids who were raised with racial propaganda far worse than what hitler put out about the jews?

It's one thing to let everyone publish stupid ideas, it's significantly different when one group can publish their stupid ideas and the other group cannot.

Dunno, I use a different browser to browse this sub (among other things) and if I leave the browser window open my computer will spin up real loud about every 5 minutes. Leave the browser closed and it doesn't do it.

It's not impossible that someone hacked the site.

GhostBond 12 points ago +12 / -0

Problem with the heroic narrative. With a villain you're a brave hero fighting evil forces. You want to do the same thing without a villain, you're just some psychopath venturing across the country killing random people for no reason.

What test is that?

In general I don't think the idea that tredua's cover story of isolating due to covid would lead to them moving him across the border to the US. It's not necessary, and contradicts the "isolate" part.
