It's a good principle, but we live in a fallen world.
People are taught how to masquerade as Christian from a young age - in schools, within family dynamics, and indeed in the Church, society rewards those who merely "act the part." But anyone who has witnessed the mask slip and seen what's underneath knows you have to be very careful of whom you support, financially or otherwise.
Being deceived and taken advantage of is one thing; failing to exercise discernment is another.
"God" doesn't want your 10%. Men who exploit religion do.
Government handouts, the same as most other organizations and projects that get egregious amounts of free airtime.
There is no such thing as "independent." Everything and everyone is constantly responding to stimuli.
we will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction
Imagine him saying this on the campaign trail, lol.
He's 100% gaslighting you and it's pretty gross.
You're right, plenty of well-adjusted adults take photos of themselves dressed as a baby, legs spread, sucking on a binky. /s
But those who have made the charities possible and trendy are under no such delusion.
I hear what you're saying, but folks are always convinced that collapse is right around the corner. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets drawn out a lot longer. Rome didn't fall in a day. People will continue taking out credit cards, they'll sign up for 50-year house loans, they'll say "yes" to more and more subscriptions until they own nothing at all. This is a slow, multi-generational demolition, and we haven't seen anything yet.
He often makes stuff up.
Good luck answering to the God you pretend to represent.
