BioWare in general is dead for me by the end of Mass Effect 2 basically. ME3 wasn't horrible (aside from the ending) but I'm pretty sure the shift towards progressivism happened partway through ME2's development.

It's an utter shame because Mass Effect 1 and Dragon Age Origins are quite nice games.

The sports analogy doesn't work properly, because in reality people like Mitt Romney and George Bush are on the same team as people like Obama and the Clintons. They're on the "progressive" team which comes in two flavours. In Canada we have 4 flavours of it, but they all accomplish much of the same things.

The "alt-right" is just a word for people who don't want to be a communist or a neo-con. The current "right" thinks that people should be ruled by money, and the current "left" thinks that money and property should be abolished. The so called third position is rejecting both of those choices of that false dichotomy.
