with the Alex Jones case precedent, they have the right to get a million billion dollars out of every news outlet that claims it was fake.

if it's the same one I'm thinking of, the dude in Portland got hunted down by a SWAT team and shot. deservedly so.

I do generally agree with your premise though: left it's coming out of the universities and welfare pits are extremely radicalized right now, and it does seem the only thing keeping them from hurting people is the potential consequences.

whataboutism is a tactic to divert away from the central talking point. in this case, it is an attack on the character instead of the argument. this is usually made when you have no argument.

yup. Most of them are essentially adults who said "fuck it, I'll just do drugs till I die". the more comfortable we make that lifestyle through handouts, the more we will create.

I no longer have any remorse for turning away panhandlers. they've got food stamps, so they're not hungry. they've got the shelters, so they have a roof if they need it. They will not take any of the money that you give them and put it towards bettering their lives, they will use it for drugs or slightly more expensive food.

it does have biological advantages, that doesn't make it a universal good. everyone else in that thread was already pointing out the negatives, so I didn't feel the need to repeat them.

few things in this world are absolute. only retards think in absolutes.

haven't read the Manga, but the anime is also excellent. especially the score.

I loved that arc in the show. They took the "misunderstood demon learns to be good" trope and shot it out back.

Fantasy needs more demons to actually be demons. Orcs to actually be orcs. Dragons to actually be dragons.

This but unironically. """collectivism""' just means you serve a ringleader, whether he makes himself known or not.

this. I would not be surprised at all if feudal and imperial Japan had widespread slavery. it just wasn't slavery of blacks.

because they are useful idiots

I would have preferred a borat-style comedy where all he does is infiltrate dei groups as inconspicuously as possible and just films them in action.

I think it's a reaction to the amount of extreme escapism we have in our culture right now. The kind where people start to forsake their responsibilities for their escapism. We see this in e-thot simping, gacha gambling, or even people spending money on new gaming consoles and VR headsets when they can't even make rent.

naturally, the knee-jerk response is to say "escapism bad!", but the problem isn't escapism itself. the problem is the imbalance of escapism with responsibility.
