She is being defended by the media not based on what she answered or her opinion but that her opponent is a white male and she is a woman.

The only caveat worth adding is that she also has the right politics to get that treatment. Because remember what Creepy Joe said: If she didn't, she ain't black! Which also applies to any other label the progressives/dems pretend to care about.
