Maybe if you don't dress perfectly like every stereotype of a gangbanging black hoodlum, up to and including the handgun, people might not assume you are one of those and things spiral out of control.
I don't walk up on women at 3am with my hoodie up for the same reason.
I got blocked on social media before when I asked when was the last time a young black man got shot by police in a collared shirt and khakis. It's a black culture crisis driving these events.
There are certainly events where police acted in a manner that is disgusting.
But most of the ones we see have the "victim" acting as thuggish and stereotypically angry black as possible. There is very clearly a culture that is causing these events to go this badly that nobody will address.
And by covering this up, BLM and their sympathisers ensure more black men will die. Propaganda like "Hand's up, don't shoot!" teaches black men that their best chance of survival is to stand and fight, which is in reality the thing that kills them.

There are clear cases where submitting and doing as you were told still goes south (Daniel Shaver), but the majority of cop encounters, violent or not, would probably go down pretty easy and safe if people stayed calm and non-aggressive.
Well, let's put it this way. Cops have a dangerous job. They have to be a bit on edge in an encounter, or they can end up dead. You, as the person they're stopping to question/search, had better realize this and act as non-aggressive as possible. In fact, smiling sweetly and acting like there's no big deal can lead to them going away thinking they lost pounds of weed and a big big bust, and you get off with the quarter ounce in you had in yer pants. Yep, that is oddly specific, isn't it?
