It was a post on the CHAZ sub; caphillautonomouszone or whatever. That sub must have been connected to the top, which isn't surprising considering Reddit wants their commie uprising to succeed... and BOOM! All accounts permanently suspended.
How do you permanently suspend? I think they use weasel worlds to get around inquiries into 'banning'.
34 new topics in the last 24 hours on the old Reddit sub. So content level's not bad, largely driven by the prolific old guard posters like SupremeReader and TheAndredal. Most upvoted topic in the last week only got 101 votes, so vote engagement is way down. Most topics still have a dozen or so comments though, and the popular ones get more like 60-100 comments.
So it's a lot quieter since going private, but it's not dead.
I'm not much of a joiner or even a starter of threads, or even a commenter for that matter. I regularly spectated on KIA2 Reddit without commenting. But I want this to succeed so I'll even start threads just to keep conversation going.
I'd like to start weekly gaming threads, since we are a predominantly gamer community. I also wanted to start a monthly "what are we reading" thread, about comics, books, literature of any type. Not sure if that's mission creep or too far outside of culture war, but I think the occasional escapes from raging at the news 24/7 is healthy.
Maybe. I think the culture war has become much more encompassing at this point, though. We can talk games, but really, the only discussion to be had anymore is what isn't a fucked up wokefest. Pointing wokeness out in this niche is a little redundant.
Use reddit as a billboard. Mods are loathe to do that, and would rather just denut the sub and hope people come over here because a private sub is boring, by all appearances. Their house, their rules, but it seems like a mistake to me.
Post new content.
Upvote existing content.
Comment, even if it doesn’t seem that insightful, because it encourages participation.
Spread the word to get people to come here.
Post less on the Reddit sub if you still are and more here.
I am 100% banned for Reddit, all accounts. Too much wrongthink.
Waiting for it to come at me.

Ted Cruz: "Do you ban users?"
Reddit: "Why no, we do not ban users."
"We do not ban users. We ban accounts."
Sex sales.
This place is blowing up compared to 2 weeks ago. So it's happening — slowly.
Even The Donald was slow going at first, now it's doing near double the engagement of the old subreddit
nigga, you gotta posts shit!
jiggity
I meant before it went private.
Just drop the hijacking crap. LOL, you're just commenting and no one gives a shit if it is off topic, and any that might are faggots.
Every time I see that shit it just reads like 'Captain Savior' is popping in with important breaking news!

DoM seems to be pretty banhappy lately.
I'm quite happy here.
I just wish there is a mobile app for .wins. I could probably make one, but I don’t have the time, experience, or willingness to maintain it.
Maybe you should ask the people who do Reddit is Fun to work the .win platform into its system.

I kind of think everyone did
If you're looking for action, try Tinder.
Grinder
Be careful on Grindr. There are a lot of chicks pretending to be dudes now. You might accidentally fuck a cunt.
That's ghey.
Great app. I love sandwiches.
*Grindr
You need to spell it like they do, bigot.
LOL, come on...
The biggest thing that keeps me from participating is the lack of a dedicated app.
I hate using sites like this on my phone in-browser.
I love the experience of Apollo or AlienBlue.
We need to read more Kotaku.
Too much normal news. We probably engaged with it elsewhere. We should be reading more SJW clown world twitter, kotaku, ign, etc.

IT'S A TRAP!
The layout is a bit...lacking. Gives off a bit of an unprofessional vibe. An overhaul might keep newcomers coming back.
Eh, I'm here for the topics and convo, not the facade. But an app would be nice.

Nudes or GTFO...
unlock the reddit again, cowards
Why not cross post threads from the old sub to here? But not do it the other direction.
