Don’t you know, only right wing politicians can be involved in scandals, left wing ones are perfect in every way.

I know people who have said this. They don't vote, but they're like "I wish I had voted for him!" They know nothing about what's going on, but "He seems pretty good" I have no idea when or how Trudeau will go, but it's about forever overdue.

I know so many women who voted for him with the same rational. Universal Suffrage was a mistake

Democracy was a mistake.

Dear CBC, please remind me what you thought when Harper prorogued.

Was thinking the same thing.

I remember Air Farce making a huge deal about it during a time before that time, too.

I don't know if it was on this subreddit or Metacanada before they shut, but the stats for last years flu and pneumonia deaths in Toronto were posted and they were the same amount as the covid deaths. It's a Quebec problem so fuck everyone else they're going down with the ship and picking up the bill.

Both Trudeau's govern with the philosophy that if it affects Quebec, the rest of the nation must pick up the bill, while not funding the other provinces when they need help.

That's not entirely true since our Case Fatality Rate is around 8% while the USA's is about 3.5%

Be Me: Albertan

After years of footing the bill for the rest of Canada, our economy collapses.

Finally our turn

Rest of Canada spits on us and hates us, because conservatism

Quebec still gets help though.

Since the pandemic the House of Commons (all the elected members of parliament) have only met I believe three times.

Not really true, after a several week shutdown they were doing a mix of virtual & some in-person sittings with each party limiting the number of people they brought in.

Although I don't believe outside the 1st couple sittings it was a "real" Parliamentary session as they were doing a special COVID committee which acted as a kinda Parliament.

"If". Canada is completely lost to the cult of SJW.

The state of Canada makes me feel very slightly better about living in the UK... very slightly.

I'd say the UK is in a worse position than Canada is.

Ezra Levant calls the UK a "dystopian time machine" as what happens there will come to Canada in 5 yrs and then to the US 5 yrs after that.
