I'd un-private, set up a bot for each post that comments directing people here for discussions, and build a community. I sincerely doubt the sub will make it to November the way things are heading anyway.

I don't really buy the reason they claim they went private. I think Antonio is full of crap and up to something.
I will say the amount of concern trolls was absolutely nuts before it went private. Still disagree on the action tho, as they were getting thrashed in the comments anyways. Reddit doesn't need an excuse to perma the sub and the only reason it's probably still alive is because it's too small and insignificant to be worth the backlash. Eventually they;re just going to say fuck it and RIP.
I'll second this, I don't exactly agree with the action even if I understand the reasoning.
But before the privating, you couldn't have a decent thread without 1-3 "why are you even here" guys filtering in and screaming about how awful we all are. The kind of moral busybodies that would try and start trouble. The sheer amount and the consistency of them very much seemed like more than just chance.
