Saffron is as expensive as hell...I just bought some yesterday...$25 for 0.06oz.

I'm no connoisseur, but I tried something with saffron in it, and honestly I don't know what the big deal is. There's other seasonings that are just as tasty. Or maybe the big deal is that it's so expensive?
