The VTuber Kirsche has been covering this for a while now. DEI never went away, it just changed branding and got so entrenched that it didn't necessarily need it's own department heads anymore because all the management layers are now true believers in their little holy crusade to promote everyone at the explicit expense of competent White men.
P.S. Stop posting screenshots of AI summaries like the hallucinations mean anything. Use the information gleaned here and go hunt down corroborating documentation of the program being described.

Which is pretty sad because she's been begging for someone more autistic than her to go through it, yet everyone just ignores it.
Because those types consider themselves "above such childish trends" (gaming/movie/pop culture, VTubing, etc). AKA, being "anime racists." Doesn't even matter if you're on the same side, those sorts are too pompous to engage with. And that's another reason why we continue to lose.

Of the many things I despise, people deferring to AI summaries as a "fact check" ranks as one of the highest.
The amount of young idiots I've encountered who retort with, "According to the AI...." has deeply saddened me. Google was already a few keystroikes away from giving you whateer answers you wanted, but now today's youth are so fried and lazy, they need a hallucinatory conduit to summarise the answers that are a click away.
We should mock them for being retarded or something. There needs to be some measure of social stigma against it. It's a mark of how stupid someone is that they can't even do their own thinking and information gathering.
Oh absolutely. I do that every time they bring up using AI as their fact-check. It definitely needs to become more widespread, though.
