Of the many things I despise, people deferring to AI summaries as a "fact check" ranks as one of the highest.
The amount of young idiots I've encountered who retort with, "According to the AI...." has deeply saddened me. Google was already a few keystroikes away from giving you whateer answers you wanted, but now today's youth are so fried and lazy, they need a hallucinatory conduit to summarise the answers that are a click away.
