I don't know how true this is, but in the dev circles the rumour is that Microsoft will be ditching id Tech 7 for the vastly inferior UE6 because they let go of the programmers in the engineering department. If that's true then it's pure bollocks and a repeat of CDPR ditching Red Engine for the inferior UE5 after firing all of their engine programmers (or they quit).

This.. i forgot about cdprojekt red using unreal as well and leaving behind their in-house engine. Sad..
