I just do occasional work now, exactly what I need to survive.
Why do more? I'll never own a home or an asset that appreciates (except as part of a Wall Street pump and dump scam). Savings are eaten by inflation almost immediately. I sure a sugar don't want to pay a single dollar in income tax to my pedophile government. The only things I can buy are pointless luxury goods, which I don't care about.
Fuck it, let the whole thing collapse and all the useless breathers perish. The survivors can rebuild, lessons learned.

The state on Maryland manipulates their unemployment numbers by requiring any job offer to be taken. You used to make 150K, and got a job offer for 50K, you have to take it or pay all the unemployment back. They even have companies that prey on people receiving unemployment.
What this did was create a job market of job hopping. They even tried to run in the news that companies don't like job hopping employees. But, that backfired. All the comments under those news articles were pointing out which companies were the worst for under paying while taking tax credits for hiring a person on unemployment.
There are also people who legally can't apply for unemployment even though they were required by law to pay taxes every check for unemployment, because they have medical issues and can't guarantee they'll be able, and available if they are hired. It's very sad.

Ghost jobs are another factor no one has brought up.
Why try to apply for jobs if the job is going to be fake, the listing will be taken down and then put back up to scrape information.
I've met more unemployed people in the last few weeks than employed people. Everyone is losing their jobs and can't find new ones it seems. Those who can't find jobs will stop looking and find other means. Women start prostituting and men start scamming, typically.
my question is how do they pay their rents or mortgages. in my apartment complex which is mostly White, but still a lot of third worlders, and now blacks are moving in, i notice that half the apartment complex doesn't seem to work. they are home all day. they can't all be remote tech workers
Scamming makes good money. They probably don't go out for food ever and buy rice + no meat. They pool their resources together.
