Started a new job a few months ago after working remotely since Covid. I'm back in the office, which to my surprise I actually enjoy, but only because I have my own office and my role doesn't require much interaction with others.
However, my office is close to the offices of several women and I was quickly reminded how much time women waste. They have hours long discussions about anything and everything besides actual work. They take multiple walks throughout the day that last 30-40 minutes.
I'd estimate that of the 8 hours they spend in the office, maybe 90 minutes of that time is spent on actual working.
I don't pay their salaries so it's whatever, but holy shit it's almost impressive how much time they waste talking about their weekend, planning their next vacation, etc. Just totally fucking useless.
I wasted time like that as a man too for the longest time. The bottom line is between women, Indians, and blacks, the par for corporate work has been driven so low.
When I started in the corporate office in the late 00s we worked a lot harder and were given a lot to accomplish. When I left the corporate world directly a couple years ago, I was in a job where I was working at home maybe 15 hours a week, handling twice the area of responsibility of any of my peers, and wasting time training a black guy who was nice enough and not very niggerish but totally out of his element. It was third promotion I was passed on for some DEI hire and the opportunity came to take a big check and leave, so I took it.
So, the other time of the work week--I would mess with personal projects, do errands, go get lunch, whatever. It was especially nice before 2020 as no one worked from home so I could have stores to myself and the old people.
Yeah as much as I like a good bash on nigs and broads I waste plenty of time at my current job as well.
Because as a fortune 500, they care more about numbers on paper than actual results. It takes me a quarter of the time to do the work than what I'm alloted. I make sure to do my work about 20% faster than what is allowed to look good, but even then I just sign off on it after sitting around scrolling or yapping.
At some point I'll probably move on from this position but it's been a breath of fresh air after my last job that worked me to the bone.
Yeah, the problem in those type companies I had to learn was especially at a certain point for a white guy like myself, there's absolutely zero incentive to do more than a little better than par. You can hand the company something that will save them millions, and at best you get an extra 1% in raise to bring it a little closer to covering inflation. It's a fine gig, I just had spent a long time and got sick of it.
One good for me is I've built up a huge network, I was exposed to tons of outside business in my role. You can't be totally like this site and go around with angst and reject everything--you still have to live in the normie world. When I look around it's mostly white guys though, and we are doing what we always should have. Just a few weeks ago we sat around on a weekend night playing cards and shooting the shit and essentially sharing business connections on the side. All these big companies hand out contract projects like candy, and we all know each other. Nothing is specifically political or pro-white, it's just natural in group bias.
congrats on quitting.
Looking back - was it adult daycare or did you change anything in the world?
Early on it was good actually. I wouldn't call it change the world but without getting too far into things that would identify me, we build actual physical functional things not just numbers. Last ~8 years was daycare, or at the very least I'd say the expectations got so low it became that. More people, more diversity, less production.
I still sort of work for all these companies, but I'm in the contractor space. Every time they hire a new Indian or oust a mostly white guy, whatever they were doing gets outsourced and the people remaining inside are just paper pushers. I think that's something that's missed is a lot of times is how much of the actual work is just done by contractors and in my stuff that's still white-guy leaning.
