Women are children. That’s essentially the reality Carolla is trying to say without “being mean”. Women act purely on what makes them feel good, actually working does not make them feel good, meetings about what work could be done makes them feel good. Solving problems doesn’t feel good, getting attention for spreading awareness feels good. Taking risks doesn’t feel good, being catered to feels good.
Women always interact at a personal level. Children often interact at a personal level because they depend on others to take care of them. As they get older they learn to interact on different levels (competitively, through sports and such, is usually where this starts).
I actually think girls are more likely to be able to deal with others on a non-personal level, but that's just a hunch.
It all goes back to the cavemen. Cavegirls would be aware of their community, cavemen were busy getting food & water & other "brute force" jobs. Working hard every day. So if there was something extra that needed working on? Women would likely notice it first & get the men to do that. Because that's how to get cave-poontang!

Close, but not quite.
