It referenced a specific event which was the topic of that group chat. That covers date, time & location.
It may seem stupid BUT this isn't a criminal trial, it's a hearing to determine IF there's enough merit to the case to proceed TO a trial. There is, even though it will probably fail, the chance of success isn't 0%. IDK what "the bar" is, probably varies wildly, eh?
