And you weren't believe it the first four contestants on the show are all non-white. There's one black chick, one latina chick who started her intro in Spanish, and two black dudes.
It's hosted by The Miz and some Honduran chick named Rocsi. To be fair the majority of the Gladiators are white.
Thank you for your sacrifice, Mpetey123.
I could never suffer through the modern slop you consume in order to give us these reports on what's going on with them and what they're about.
I appreciate the effort, though, because it at least gives us a gauge on what's happening in normie-streaming-land without having to actually consume the content ourselves.
So basically the point of the show for normies will be: “Watch these poor POCs struggle against the white patriarchy and fight for their place both literally and figuratively!”
You're looking at it all wrong heh. This is peak entertainment. Watching puffed up black retards getting their faces smashed in is better entertainment than I would ordinarily hope for.
And one of the Gladiators, Fang (real name Michael Wardlow), recently revealed he did the entire season with a torn bicep.
So the non-whites are healthy and a white opponent is hurt the whole time.
If I remember correctly you're an AEW guy, you know who that fella is?
I used to be an AEW guy. I'm not anymore. A shame, the in-ring wrestling is still really darn good, but I can't deny that most of the people at the top are big SJWs, including Brody King and his "Abolish ICE" shirts that no one dares tell him to take off, and who gets "Fuck ICE" chants now because of it. This was the final straw.
However, I do know who Wardlow is.
He had boatloads of potential, but kept getting injured at the worst possible times, sometimes in the unluckiest ways, like backing into the ropes.
The man is a moron for doing this entire season with a torn bicep before getting it fixed. I don't care how much he was paid for it.
"Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff injured his shoulder in 1985, just as he was about to begin a months-long feud with Hulk Hogan. So he worked through the injury.
It gave him permanent nerve damage that made his arm continually atrophy for the rest of his life. It was surreal seeing his arm shrink over the next ten years before he retired in 1995--and in almost every public appearance since then, he wore big long sleeves to hide how small his arm had become.
Yes, pro wrestlers are tough cookies. But if you work hurt like that, you're an idiot. Get the surgery.
Yea AEW seems to be ridiculously woke. Good wrestling though
What the fuck is "The Miz?". Is that what kids are calling aids now?
Real name Mike Mizanin.
Reality TV loser who became a pro wrestler about 20 years ago--and to everybody's shock, not only put in every effort to make it work, but became a really, REALLY good performer because of it.
There's a reason he's been in WWE for as long as he has, and has even held their top title at least once. He's guaranteed to go into their Hall of Fame at some point.
Full respect to the man.
Ultimate working man.
Very good, much obliged for the extra information.
As someone who never followed wrestling but did watch too much early reality television, it was trippy as hell randomly learning about the Miz like 4-5 years ago. Genuine doubletake moment.
He's a wrestler/ tv personality
Tbf its american gladiators... gonna be 95%+ nigged
I had no idea it was remade. I watched the original as a kid
