You think that's bad. I have an old email address that I can't retrieve because the server that holds passwords doesn't communicate well between the MSN.com, Hotmail.com, and Outlook password servers. Unless you had a phone number associated with your account BEFORE the service migrated, you're fucked. It's been like that for years and they haven't fixed it.
... and THAT is the email they chose in a "performance critical" environment?
This is funny because there is an absolute warzone of forum posts of people having crazy problems thanks to Windows bullshit and the top answer is always some Microslop rep with bad grammar telling them to just nuke and reinstall.
I remember being told that by HP "support" around 2005. I also remember calling Microsoft directly and being told they'd only help me if I paid them $300, which would get me five support calls for the year. That was the same cost of the Xbox that I just bought. None of those clown could even speak English, so I wasn't going to even give them $30 to tell me to power cycle the damn PC. I found the solution myself, which consisted of quickly typing up a very long series of command lines before the BIOS would automatically reboot. I felt really proud to have fixed it myself.
I just recently watched this video about how shit outlook is.
