This is objectively the most shit gaming generation of all time.
The hardware is fake - fake resolution, fake frames, soon fake art.
The games are predatory - live service, battle passes, microtransactions.
The devs are woke - DEI, leftist, LGBTQ.
We are an audience of mostly straight white males giving more and more of our time and money to people who hate us in exchange for products that fucking suck.
Yeah, but we gotta have the latest Madden and Call of Duty.
Most of the consoles are digital only, so games won't be playable at all in the future. Even on disk models, the primary SSD is proprietary and soldered in and has limited lifespan, ensuring that they'll all be e-waste by the time the ps6 pro is out.
Controllers are flimsier and more expensive than ever, no one uses hall effect sticks (discovered in 1879), creating a de-facto subscription. Sony keeps announcing new themed controllers and people eat it up because they have to buy a new one every year.
This is on top of the subscription multiplayer scam carried over from the previous generations, where you pay to use your own internet.
Thank god ive got 2 pcs + spare parts + hard drives filled with games so I can last a while. NOT getting windows 11 neither
