They brag about doing this. They think it makes them smart rather than immoral shit eaters

They are always 6 gorillion steps ahead. They are already invested in nuclear startups in anticipation of their orange puppet to give them the green light.

Those nuclear power plants will power the data centers that they own. Which then provide compute power for the AI models that they also own.

Which particular nuclear startups. I already invested in a precious metal startup Trump's orbiters mentioned

SMR (Small Nuclear Reactors). The DOE is working to get the legal framework for those laid out. They are the size of a truck and can power a small city. The industrial use cases are unprecedented.

Allo Atomics is one the israeli startups working on them.

Sears was the Amazon of the 19th and early 29th century. People bought their houses from them.

That's really sad.

Early 29th century

Looking forward to their comeback in eight or nine hundred years.

This is the first time I've heard an actual name attached to the story instead of just "a private equity firm."

Seara never should have hired a CEO with a real estate license. He valued the land SEARS was on above all else.

Sears was my part time high school/early college job. Place was going downhill long before Lampert came on the scene. Lampert just accelerated the death spiral.

I'd do the same given the opportunity.

The jew legal term for it is "Sale-Leaseback Mechanism" and "Leveraged Buyout"

Its a scheme where the company is forced to sell its owned real estate, the brick & mortar stores to a 3rd party, which is then leased back to them, creating massive expenses.

That happened to Toys'R'Us, and Sears, and K-Mart, and countless others.
