There's things I don't like about Gen Z, but most of it I understand the reason behind it. The not liking rock music thing is too bizarre though. Everyone liked rock music. If you were in grade school in the 2000s, you were liking music from the 70s, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin - through the 90s.
It seemed like every generation appreciated rock.
But I've heard that Gen Z does not like rock music. I don't get it. To me that's like "not liking apple pie"; it's such an American cornerstone that it's baffling.
It's sad. In my opinion, if you don't like rock; that's kind of gay, like literally in the homosexual sense. There's something about if Alice in Chains Man in the Box comes on on the radio and you turn it off in favor of some retarded pop or rap or EDM, that's kind of gay.
There's something masculine about rock above other genres of music and the fact that Gen Z can't recognize it is concerning.
Like I get they didn't grow up with it, but I didn't grow up with Star Trek. It was never on in my house, but I recognize that Captain Kirk is a chad and that's why I now like TOS despite never growing up with it.
You should be able to recognize testosterone when you come across it and the fact that the times when they do hear some of the best rock, it doesn't register as "this kicks tons of butt" tells me something is off with their testosterone levels.
If the first 20 seconds of this doesn't start making your head nod back and forth you have to be gay.
You have to be some kind of faggot to not like fire.
Meanwhile Diddy assfucks half the big name rappers and people pretend like rap is still cool.
Hey, the singer is very, how can I say, Israeli. The music is good, but you have that. I don't care, mostly.
Yeah I'm aware David Draiman is a POS.
The David Draiman mini-saga was one of the funniest parts of Gamergate. Comes in down with the sickness, tries to sic GG on his pet cause, flames out and leaves while posting he's "felt comfortable being a Jew for the first time" in Israel. And the whole thing was in allcaps
Disturbed is weird choice when trying to talk about universal appeal in rock music.
Lol
Consider the possibility that some people had psychotic narcs for older sibilings who would abuse them physically and mentally to the rhytm of Korn, Linkin Park and Limbizkit. The beat drop becomes a singal for literal beating dropping on your head, that hurts.
Some people had pavlovian conditioning to associate specific stimula with pain during their formative years and then you come along and act surprised when something is off. Is it rock's fault? Absolutely not.
You now know why things are the way they are.
I think this might be unique to you and your brother mate.
Who knows. If people were as open about everything as I am then truth would surface.
Awfully specific
And true.
Hey, don't forget metal, too! Rock AND metal are the kings of music.
