There have been several times in human history where Tribe X had most of their men killed by Tribe Y, and the X women captured. In pretty much every Western/Asian society, the genetic makeup of the women is from ancestors who rolled over and spread their legs for conquerors.
It goes back even further. Their sexual selection never evolved past finding the biggest, most violent ape in the vicinity and hopping on his dick.
