Accounting for inflation of currency and goods and rent, I basically have the same amount of left over cash in my wallet/bank now, as I did in 2014 when I got my first Adult Job. My wages have doubled since then and yet I'm in the same position monetarily.
Graduated in 2016.
Dead on arrival in the professional world.
Ten years later I have a generic office job unrelated to my major, which pays inflation adjusted the same money I made loading trucks at 19.
