That's the worst part of growing up in this era. Accounting for inflation of currency and goods and rent, I basically have the same amount of left over cash in my wallet/bank now, as I did in 2014 when I got my first Adult Job. My wages have doubled since then and yet I'm in the same position monetarily.

Worse for me. I lost money because I stayed in a job I love. I had many more options in 2012-2022 than I do now.
