You're forgetting I used to be a Fortnite player. Ridiculous collab items are par for the course for huge games now. If you want a gritty military FPS, go play Hell Let Loose with the other LARPing Nazi clowns. Or you could play Squad if that's still a thing and you don't get hard when you hear Doucheland Uber Alles. Call of Duty isn't a realistic shooter. People jump around like fucking kangaroos, spraying SMGs at you. That's how it's been for over a decade.
Black Ops 7 is an objectively better game, dragged down by people whining about muh AI in art. It wasn't allowed to win awards for that reason. Imagine all the chucklefuck whiny VAs and artists on stage after it wins. It wasn't even nominated, to make sure it couldn't win.
Asinine, just asinine. Battlefield 6 looks better, runs better, plays better, and doesn't demand a quarter of a terabyte of storage space just to play Black Ops 6 again with reskinned guns and a shitty "it was all a dream" story.
It's the most boring thing I've played in a while. I don't get what people see in it. Maybe I wasn't playing it right, I don't know, I tried all the vehicles and got decent K/D, but I can't say I ever had fun. It seems like a team based communication game and I can't stand that. I'm probably one of the only people who plays Helldivers exclusively solo.
Aside from that, team based games rely on the ability to use chat, which a lot of people will be locked out of soon due to Digital ID requirements, so soon BF6 will be an overpriced paperweight.
stupid skins are a tradition
Not what I said. I said they are the norm. That's what you get. I can't name a popular game without collab items right now.
do you even like this hobby
I think so? I miss Forza Motorsport. Still sad they killed the studio because it got review bombed. RIP Turn 10..you deserved better than this.
Saying that, I didn't play any of the Game of the Year nominated slop, and the only thing announced at the game awards that I thought might be fun was Tankrat. Screamer looks interesting but fucking hell I'm not dropping $60 on an anime racing game. It's such a bad idea to cram a story into a racing game and I could make a rant going on about that for hours.
It does feel like the industry is leaving me behind. F1 26 got cancelled...fuck you Saudi Arabia...and just in general, everything I like is either dead or dying, replaced by trends I hate like collaborative multiplayer, horror games and what I can only define as Asia slop, where eleven special effects hit with every attack until you can't tell what's going on anymore.
NBA 2K fan
I got 2k25 free on PS Plus...which wasn't terrible. I wouldn't call myself a fan. I just played offline career.
BF6 would have failed if it wasn't for undeserved hatred for the new Call of Duty.
Ark Raiders was a 6 or 7 out of ten. No way it should win best multiplayer.
No hatred of Call of Duty is undeserved.
Litteraly all hatred has been justified since roughly 2009
Wow, so edgy, you hate mainstream things.
Ah yes Call of Duty, the gritty military FPS where a demonic clown can kill Butthead with unicorn farts.
You're not even trying anymore.

You're pathetic. Do you even like this hobby?
You sound like a NBA 2k fan.
Worse, the only games he every played was Fortnight and Forza.

Your opinions suck about everything. How are you still here?
This post praises Exp. 33. I don't think I could do worse than that.
