It's the most boring thing I've played in a while. I don't get what people see in it. Maybe I wasn't playing it right, I don't know, I tried all the vehicles and got decent K/D, but I can't say I ever had fun. It seems like a team based communication game and I can't stand that. I'm probably one of the only people who plays Helldivers exclusively solo.
Aside from that, team based games rely on the ability to use chat, which a lot of people will be locked out of soon due to Digital ID requirements, so soon BF6 will be an overpriced paperweight.
stupid skins are a tradition
Not what I said. I said they are the norm. That's what you get. I can't name a popular game without collab items right now.
do you even like this hobby
I think so? I miss Forza Motorsport. Still sad they killed the studio because it got review bombed. RIP Turn 10..you deserved better than this.
Saying that, I didn't play any of the Game of the Year nominated slop, and the only thing announced at the game awards that I thought might be fun was Tankrat. Screamer looks interesting but fucking hell I'm not dropping $60 on an anime racing game. It's such a bad idea to cram a story into a racing game and I could make a rant going on about that for hours.
It does feel like the industry is leaving me behind. F1 26 got cancelled...fuck you Saudi Arabia...and just in general, everything I like is either dead or dying, replaced by trends I hate like collaborative multiplayer, horror games and what I can only define as Asia slop, where eleven special effects hit with every attack until you can't tell what's going on anymore.
NBA 2K fan
I got 2k25 free on PS Plus...which wasn't terrible. I wouldn't call myself a fan. I just played offline career.
Silence buffoon. You wrote a fucking novel to say nothing at all. The fact that you dont know what hyperbole is nor have friends to play games with makes you even more pathetic.
Naming Forza Motorsports in an attempt to make you seem like less of a normiefag is not the flex you think it is.
I do have friends to play games with. I just don't like collaborative games. I don't know why they're such a big thing.
What game am I supposed to name? I just named something that I felt deserved better than it got. The way the industry is going is a bad direction. It seems like someone or something is pushing them towards collaborative experiences...with Digital ID looming to make them unplayable. The cynic in me would connect those dots, but that implies power over tech that I'd rather not believe my enemy has.
Video games have always been CoLlAbOrAtIvE you fool. Even the Atari 2600 was multi-player, hell most games were multi-player only.
The only thing pushing games in a bad direction is bullshit like Fortnite and Call of Duty making a boat load of money selling slop to normiefags like you.
No, Pong was competitive. You didn't work together, you played against each other. That's my point.
I'm sorry, but Battlefield 6 isn't fun. It's not. Unless you have a full squad of people you know, it's a tedious slog where you barely affect the outcome.
It would be like if every racing game suddenly mandated that instead of getting the win yourself, everyone would be put in teams and their points would be added together, like in IRL racing. There's a reason they don't do that. It's stupid. It doesn't reward skill or intelligent play, it rewards people who personally know their teammates.
Fortnite
Ironically, I can talk about this in the same context. Introducing, Fortnite Delulu. A proximity chat enabled mode, where you work with people and form teams, where victory isn't determined by skill but by social interaction. It's so, so incredibly stupid of an idea.

Log off.
