Or they're just generally the sorts of people who can't stand by their convictions. The sorts that let the DEI shit creep in, en masse, in the first place.

Worst of all, this isn't even like nitpicking territory. The game garnered some pretty clear legitimate critiques. Yet so many people are so resistant to open their eyes or to admit that they're being hog washed.
They are the gamer equivalent of coomers. They can’t say no to a “good game” even when it’s made by people who hate them and laced with leftist propaganda. There are already more great video games than any one person could fully play in a lifetime. Every game you choose to play represents a opportunity cost. You’re not “missing out” by skipping the latest pozzed garbage that happens to be relatively well designed.
The gameplay didn't even look fun.
One of the things that convinced me most was the realization that "just a little" only went one way. It was always "give up a bit" never matched with "getting a bit" frog boiling and all.
"Voting machine glitches" Okay fine, but it's always in favor of one party.
"We just picked the best actor" Okay but it's always replacing a white person.

gamers always had the lowest standard when it comes to consumer group.
Kind of depends on the issue. Gamers can be picky as hell on some things, but less so on others. They definitely let things slide pretty damned fast when it came to microtransactions though.
Bingo. That's basically every male I know. They just suck down slop to fit in and make excuses for it.
