Uhmmmmm sweetie Batman was always an obese latinx queer wheelchair bound paraplegic who can literally defeat any enemy with the power of xer front-hole stench.
But it also means the Nemesis system that WB patented and then locked into a fucking vault after two games has a chance of getting out and being used elsewhere, and that's the kind of unique ideas that gaming needs more of.
I got a lot of enjoyment out of it, and I imagine if I sucked harder at games (and thereby died more) I'd have gotten even more emergent storytelling out of it.
Regardless, its something innovative that could be great if pounded on and let adapt instead of being trapped into a single dead IP in its original form. There are bones to build off.
The three big stand outs for me were the one guy who came back like 3 times after I killed him, the one who was so heavily immune that I straight up had to keep running away until I got a lucky setting with something that could hurt him.
And a final one, who after I shamed him for giggles "evolved" as X the Unashamed, with dozens of handprint brands across his body and a whole new personality as being reborn from the experience and grown stronger from it with like a 40 level boost to back it up. Which is something I doubt most people saw happen and was such a unique little moment that its stuck with me like a decade on now.
I can't wait for a game that has Batman humiliated and killed by a bunch of shitty woke characters...again.
Yeah they didn't need Wokeflix for that.
Yea, wasn't that basically the plot of one of their recent games? Plus, Joker 2.

I have hbo max for the old content. I guess that will be going away. They are both full of current year content
Not sure how to sail the high seas. Well I do but I’m paranoid
Yes HD dot net.
This is bad for all the obvious reasons.

It's not even that good, though.

Yeah they kept giving me nemeses, and I would murder them on the first meeting. I appreciated the effort though,

I saw it work out really well for a few other people and legitimately think the system is a great idea.
