Yes, this isn't exactly a new revelation. It's done to make the foreigners not look as bad as they are while also making it look like Whites are comparably criminal. You can't get mad about importing a whole bunch of third worlders if your population is just as bad as them, right?
When we write Hispanic, we mean Mexican. We mean specific parts of Mexico. We mean specific demographics. Almost all of the western US is full of people that fit that description.
It's why so many people have a hard time understanding how European Argentina can be. They don't know how to respond to a rich class Mexican from Mexico City. They think Brazil is nothing like what it is.
Then, the government uses that misinformation and creates more to fit their narrative. They want the poor Mexican to look less violent, so they say it has to be those white Hispanics.

Yeah, Argentina is kind of like Bizarro Italy (or at least the capital Buenos Aires is where half the population lives).
It's far enough south that the winter climate is a lot like the PNW/New England.
Everyone looks White, but speaks Spanish. Everyone is pretty skinny. The food culture revolves around pizza (eaten with a fork), steak, red wine, espresso & empanadas.
A lot of the highend stores are focused on leather & lingerie.
Whenever my family came from there they brought Alfajores. I just found them at Publix and nearly cried. Dulce de Leche is more common now, but not when I was a kid.
Well yeah mestizo isn't an option on the census or on any demographic collection forms, the closest is Hispanic mixed that nobody bothered to tell the Mexicans it's not just for part blacks
And most incarceration facilities around the US don't actually track immigration status, so their crime commission rate is much higher than "sources" claim.

They do it on purpose to change the statistics.

My Dad is from Maschuits which is now part of Buenos Aires but not when he lived there. We joke that we are honorary Italians.
You forgot Dulce de Leche y Alfajores.
I definitely forgot to list Dulce de Leche for sure.
I only vaguely remember Alfajores.
Whenever my family came from there they brought Alfajores. I just found them at Publix and nearly cried. Dulce de Leche is more common now, but not when I was a kid.
When the federal government writes Hispanic, they mean anyone from Latin America, including Spanish-descended Whites.
So the crime per capita of lower IQ races is even worse...

There's Hispanic and there's non-White Hispanic. They don't get used properly very often.
only 20%? i know its more, but its unprovable
